Visiting The Gigantic Eagle Statue!

Selfies in a very great size statue? Ah! I was so surprised when I saw the wonderful landmark for the first time while passing BuDa.

I never thought that traveling through BuDa would lead me to an interesting landmark. BuDa is short for Bukidnon and Davao boundary that connects the province of Bukidnon and the amazing city of Davao. Perhaps that was an exciting experience when I passed by Barangay Baganihan in the Marilog District of Davao City with the gigantic Philippine Eagle Statue.

It has been a while since I have not visited Davao. Davao is a huge region comprising beautiful places such as Davao Del Norte, Davao Del Sur, Davao Occidental, and Davao Oriental. I remember that I have been to Davao City for the past years only twice and that was when I was still in my fourth year in Junior High School when I stepped to Davao City way back in 2006, and I came back ten years after in the year 2016.

Now, after seven years, seeing a huge monument surprised me. And just last week, I traveled to Davao Del Norte on a weekend. After seeing the monument, we stopped for a while. Although it was quite gloomy, I enjoyed capturing many selfies with the gigantic Philippine Eagle. How I wish I captured it with a blue sky but what matters to me is the unforgettable experiences.

I took a lot of selfies. It was just a simple moment of selfies with my purple coordinates, a pair of slippers, and my black shades. Whenever I am traveling I just love to wear light clothes since I do not want bulky baggage. And here I am at the moment standing in front of the huge landmark with big smiles. After taking some snapshots, I went to the marketplace to buy souvenirs from Davao.

I had a great time exploring all around the area. And I hope to be back on another side of the Davao Region for another exciting and memorable adventure!
