I Caught The Sunset At Misamis Oriental!

I found a corner to make footprints and a relaxing path to walk on where the Sun was on an amazing display on the horizon. Ah! I caught the sunset literally and figuratively! I was at a beach in Initao, Misamis Oriental, Philippines last time when I saw the Sun going down.

Although it took me more than three hours to arrive at my travel destination from Bukidnon, I must say that I had a great time on a day of my life after I captured myself with the sunset’s grandeur. I grew up by the mountains. So whenever I am at the beach, I am always eager to capture priceless moments not to mention that hunting sunsets is one of my favorite parts.

After swimming, I had a walk at the shore while enjoying the atmosphere. Since it was a low tide it made me discover several hidden gems. It was nice to see corals and rocks with the sand’s neutral tones. It was just a simple stroll before we went home, but when I noticed the beautiful dispersion of lights on the shore, I was eager to capture it and I had a candid pose while it was behind me.

Have you tried catching the Sun? Walking at the shore before Sundown would always be the best time for me as the weather becomes cool and the sea breeze becomes colder compared to walking at the beach on a hot afternoon. And I must say that this is the best time to catch the golden Sun on the horizon.

As I was walking on the rocky surface, I got pricked by sharper objects but I was enjoying the moment as the clinging rocks and corals had become my background along with the captivating sunset. When the Sun dipped to the horizon, I enjoyed the glow and never left the place without taking candid shots. And it was like an unexpected photo shoot at my favorite backdrop.

Honestly, I only had a rare moment at the beach since most of the time, I am having adventures in the picturesque views of Bukidnon. I remember when I was younger, we could only go to the beach when there was a celebration. But at that moment, it was a visit to the sea with the white sand since I missed the shore so much.

I had several candid poses while feeling that I was touching the Sun. It was a magical moment and little did I know that I would have this photograph with the view of holding the Sun with my one hand. The sunlight painted the sky with amazing hues and I love them so much.

Perhaps visiting a beach far away from my home was so worth it. I was so grateful for the rare wonders that nature offered to me through the sunset and the surrounding atmosphere that truly made my day. And yes, it was a great day capturing the sunset literally and figuratively!
