An Enchanting Moment At The River's End

What an enchanting encounter to explore an extraordinary place I have never been before. And then I found myself in an extraordinary place where the river and sea intertwined. I was happy to see an estuary!

When I was in Macrohon, Southern Leyte, Philippines, I took a moment to explore the boundary at a distance on the other side. Even from afar, I am seeing an enchanting view so I never hesitate to walk at a distance and come closer.

The weather was not as bright as the other day, yet I was delighted to stroll outside because I have seen that the sky was in a beautiful powder blue shade with tiny cottony clouds. How I love to capture them all despite the gloomy weather and still, it was a fine day to stroll and walk around the place.

After I reached the beautiful spot, I saw an old mass formed from rocks with the presence of green plants. And, the massive formation of rocks and lush vegetation marked this enchanting boundary. The sea is truly a mesmerizing blend of greenish and bluish hues reflecting the gloomy day.

Afterward, I got nearer, I then found out that it was the part where the river meets with the sea and the area was an estuary. The sea was so calm and I was delighted to explore a unique area like this so I captured myself in front of the huge mass. I then took a walk and continued taking snaps.

I stayed there for a moment capturing the mesmerizing beauty of nature. While I was dipping my feet into the water, I googled but the seawater was so soothing, that even heals me and removes my stress away.

I often call the sea as Vitamin Sea, caressing my face and tussling my hair. I could not resist capturing this magical moment and I was eager to explore.

Meanwhile, I leisurely walk along the estuary's edge. I have witnessed the soft sand and as I stepped on it, my feet cradled as I walked slowly and felt like having a gentle dance with nature. Honestly, I felt so relaxed as I felt the calm atmosphere with the wild heart of nature.

I continued strolling along the estuary and then took several quick photos with a panoramic view. It was like a mesmerizing encounter wherein the distant sound of crashing waves and the gentle flow of the river were so soothing to my soul.

Perhaps it was a beautiful place and I must say that it was a perfect haven for various bird species and marine life. I heard a few sounds of animals, but I was also wondering if snakes were there.

Since it was about to turn night, so I went back to the place where we were staying. And as I left the place, I carried the memory of this magical encounter and it reminded me of nature’s majesty. And, I am always grateful for the chance to witness the meeting of a flowing river and the calm sea.
