Hi,

it's not very often, but sometimes I manage to leave work for some training or business trip. If it is for several days, I try to find interesting places in the vicinity of the place where I will be staying and go on a trip. In short, I try to combine the pleasant with the useful. This time, my work trip took me to a hotel in Lopušná dolina, where a conference was waiting for me.

No city, only nature that spreads all around. And this is exactly what I need. The conference was supposed to start at one in the afternoon. But I was in a hurry and arrived at the place early in the morning. You would look for a jacket and an elegant shirt with a tied tie on me in vain. Hiking boots, sports shirt and shorts, that was my outfit. I exchanged the briefcase with papers for a backpack and a camera. I'm ready and ready to go.

I met one of the lecturers in the parking lot. He also came earlier, but in order to prepare the hall and prepare the materials for the conference. We greeted each other, I asked him if he needed help with something, and everyone went their separate ways.

In this case, I have to admit that I did not prepare for the hike in advance. I entered the forest along the forest path and followed where my feet led me. But I tried to remember the intersections I took to make it to the conference. It would be funny if I end up missing what I came here for.

Lopusná dolina is located near the town of Svit and is known primarily for its slopes, which attract tourists here in winter. In the summer you can enjoy hiking here and there are also cycle paths for bicycle fans.

The Baba Nature Reserve is part of the Lopusna Valley. It was created to protect an important botanical site of thermophilic vegetation. The southern part of the reserve is very warm, the northern slopes are cold, which creates conditions for the occurrence of heat-loving plants near cold-loving species.

It didn't take long and I came out of the forest to a small meadow. I was immediately drawn to the abundance of butterflies. They flew from flower to flower looking for sweet nectar. For a moment I thought I was in a fairy tale, because so far I have only seen such a large number of butterflies in a zoo.

At first I ran after them criss-crossing and tried to photograph them in this way. After a while I found out that it doesn't make sense. All I have to do is wait a moment near one of the flowers and the butterflies will come to me. And so it happened.

The meadow was not big, but it was long. It stretched along the road. Behind her was a stream and a forest.

As you can imagine, I didn't do much on this hike. The walk turned into a photo event in nature. But that didn't bother me at all, because I was happy that I managed to photograph so many different butterflies.

At conferences, I played back the pictures I took, sorted them and enjoyed the pictures I had taken.

I believe that I will attend a similar conference this year as well.

nie je to veľmi často, no niekedy sa mi podarí ísť z roboty na nejaké školenie, prípadne pracovnú cestu. Ak to je na viac dní tak sa snažím nájsť zaujímavé miesta v okolí miesta kde budem ubytovaný a vyrážam na výlet. Snažím sa skrátka spojiť príjemné s užitočným. Tento krát ma pracovná cesta zaviala do hotela v Lopušnej doline, kde ma čakala konferencia.

Žiadne mesto, iba príroda, ktorá sa rozprestiera všade dookola. A presne toto potrebujem. Konferencia sa mala začať o jednej obedom. Ja som sa ale poponáhľal a na miesto som prišiel už skoro ráno. Sako a elegantnú košeľu s uviazanou kravatou by ste na mne hľadali márne. Turistické topánky, športové tričko a krátke nohavice, to bol môj odev. Aktovku s papiermi som vymenil za rubsak a fotoaparát. Som pripravený a môžem vyraziť.

Na parkovisku som stretol jedného z prednášajúcich. Ten tiež prišiel skôr, no preto aby pripravil sálu a pripravil si materiály na konferenciu. Pozdravili sme sa, opýtal som sa ho či mu s niečím netreba pomôcť a každý šiel svojou cestou.

V tomto prípade sa musím priznať, že som sa dopredu na túru nepripravil. Po lesnej ceste som vošiel do lesa a šiel som, kam ma nohy viedli. Snažil som si ale zapamätať si rázcestia ktorými som šiel, aby som tú konferenciu stihol. Bola by sranda keby som nakoniec zmeškal to, kvôli čomu som sem vlastne prišiel.

Lopušná dolina sa nachádza neďaleko mesta Svit a je známa predovšetkým vďaka svojím zjazdovkám, ktoré sem lákajú turistov v zimnom období. V lete si tu môžete vychutnať turistiku a nájdu sa tu aj cyklotrasy pre fanúšikov bicyklov.

Súčasťou Lopušnej doliny je Prírodná rezervácia Baba. Vznikla na ochranu významnej botanickej lokality teplomilnej vegetácie. Južná časť rezervácie je veľmi teplá, severné úbočia sú chladné, čo vytvára podmienky pre výskyt teplomilných rastlín v blízkosti druhov chladnomilných.

Netrvalo dlho a z lesa som vyšiel na neveľkú lúku. Okamžite ma zaujalo množstvo motýľov. Poletovali z kvetu na kvet a hľadali sladký nektár. Na chvíľu som si myslel, že som v rozprávke, pretože také množstvo motýľov som doteraz videl len v ZOO.

Najprv som pobehoval za nimi krížom krážom a snažil som sa ich takýmto spôsobom vyfotografovať. Po čase som zistil, že to nemá zmysel. Úplne mi postačí počkať chvíľu pri niektorom z kvetov a motýle prídu za mnou. A tak sa aj stalo.

Lúka to síce nebola veľká, ale zato dlhá. Tiahla sa pozdĺž cesty. Za ňou bol potok a lesík.

Ako si môžete domyslieť, tak som na tejto túre toho veľa neprešiel. Prechádzka sa zmenila na fotografickú akciu v prírode.  To mi ale vôbec nevadilo, pretože som bol rád, že sa mi podarilo vyfotografovať toľko rôznych motýľov.

Na konferencie som si prehrával snímky, ktoré som nafotil, triedil ich a tešil sa z nafotených záberov.

Verím, že aj tento rok absolvujem podobnú konferenciu.
