Flight of the Eagle


I came across this massive sculpture (located in front of the SIEMENS headquarters in Berlin) on one of my morning walks and thought it would make a good subject together with the obviously much older statue of an eagle on a column behind it which is peeking through, when suddenly a bird decided to fly through the frame and kind of explaining the curved lines of the modern artwork as an abstract depiction of the eagle‘s flight motion.

PS: There’s something wrong with the contest dates. September only had 30 days and October, 1st was a Sunday.
