"Light Through"

A faint sound of nature has awoken my sleeping soul
Every day has been slow and I can't seem to get the rhythm of it
It's nothing similar to when we were younger
There was a time when we didn't want to grow old and change

The coldness of the day is starting to creep into my soul
I'm starting to feel that life is draining away from me ever since that day
The life that we had back then was simpler but it was happier
Each moment counts as a good memory that we have

Can we stay in that time forever and never change?
Every time I watch as time passes the regrets grow with it
When will I ever feel the moments that made us live forever
There's just no way for me to stop the time and stay forever

Is it time for us to move on?
The reality of life has started making me feel like nothing will last
In this time that we are living in, each moment is precious
Appreciating each moment is an act of loving the life that we are having.
