Waking up in the morning with a clear vision of what’s to come,
This journey pushes me to embrace life and feel at home.
Thinking about the past, through all the trials and strife I’ve known,
Forgetting the moments that made me feel I didn’t quite belong.

Recalling all fo my actions and regretted every misstep,
I've been judging myself for every painful memory kept.
Reminding myself that all my past sorrows should be left behind,
I will welcome the new day to come, to awaken with a hopeful mind.

Every prayer that I have to have my sorrows to be taken away,
It's a wish that I have had since the day my heart was left in disarray.
Gathering all the fragments of my life, piecing them back with care,
Every moment that I gather here to heal wounds laid bare.

To heal all wounds is a lie; some will become scars,
It helps me remember all the trials I faced, like distant, shimmering stars.
What we’ve accomplished will remain deep in memory’s core,
Every piece of my life, echoes forevermore.

Embrace every moment of my life, for it’s meant to be,
I will learn from every experience, and breathe in its complexity.
The challenges will be embraced, turn them into lessons bright,
We rise each morning to greet the sun, welcoming a new light.
