Boiled Eggs and Pandesal is Enough for My Breakfast
This is my very first time participating in a challenge here in the Asean Hive community, and the topic is indeed interesting just sharing our breakfast for the day. Due to some commitments with various tasks related to my day job, I sometimes fail to eat breakfast, but not this time.
For me, breakfast is not the most important meal of the day, and most of the time, I skip my breakfast and go directly into eating between 11:00-12:00 AM here in the Philippines.
I woke up at around 8:00 AM today because I went to sleep at 2:00 AM because of some commitments at my day job, which sometimes could take some overtime, especially when I have errands outside my workstation.
What's For Breakfast?
My breakfast for today is just a simple one. I boiled two eggs and bought some salt bread, commonly known as "pan de sal" in the Philippines. Most families enjoy breakfast with "pan de sal," a staple bread roll made of flour, yeast, sugar, oil, and salt.
Some people in the Philippines enjoy their breakfast with just a cup of coffee, milk, or tea paired with a few pan de sal bread.
My breakfast was enough for me, having eaten two pieces of boiled egg and around five parts of pan de sal roll bread.
I bought around one egg tray of eggs composed of 24 pieces, and sometimes I also cooked a "sunny side up egg" for breakfast. I couldn't do the same meal today because I felt tired from yesterday's task.
The eggs are readily available inside my apartment, but for the pan de sal, I need to make some effort by going outside and buying it from a nearby bakery, maybe around 200 meters from where I stay.
This is just my simple story of how I enjoyed my breakfast of the day, and I am thankful to this community for giving me a chance to participate in the "What's My Breakfast Challenge?"
Although I have been absent for a while writing long-form content on Hive, I believe there's always something useful I could contribute to this community in the next few days.
I have been busy doing some tasks in promoting Hive here in the Philippines with the DBuzz Team, and at the same time, I was doing some promotions of various Web3 projects and Web3 communities through my news website PhilNews.xyz.

Wow, bread or Pandesal in Filipino term is also very perfect for breakfast, combination of hot coffee.
Thank you for sharing your delicious breakfast, best of luck. ☺️
Thank you for the support @godslove123. Been absent for a while but I will try to be active in the next few days with long-form content.

Pandesal is indeed one of the staple foods here sa Pinas... :) There are quite a variation recently. I miss eating malunggay pandesal. There isn't any in my area.... xD
Nice one I also miss that variety of pandesal.

Sometimes a quick and simple breakfast is a must when we're busy or have little freetime. There is a motorbike guy that drives by our house every morning selling various baked goods, and we often combine that with a cup of coffee.
Thank you, @justinparke, for taking the time to engage with your participants. I appreciate it a lot. Looking forward to more posting from the community.
