HOW BROILER CHICKEN OVERSTOCKING AND INADEQUATE OF MARKETING SURVEY CAN REDUCE PROFIT OUTCOME TO THE BEAREST MINIMUM.

I do normally say it that, going into Broiler chicken farming business, one has to understand every aspect of it so as not regret doing the business in the long run. In every business which involves buying and selling. One has to take into cognizance before one stocks up, after stocking up, then one would sell but there must have been a survey of the goods one stocks, meaning to what length are people demanding for such goods before producing or buying with the aim of selling to others.

Why stocking Broiler chicken and marketing should go hand in hand.

Currently, as Broiler chicken business is concern, if you are a newcomer, you have to be cautious of number of Broiler chicken to stock. It's advisable if you allow your stock to go in line with your marketing network. I mean know the number of customers that are available that your stock is capable of supplying. If you overstock and there are no customers available to buy it, there might put you into pressure to want to get rid of them at reduce price thereby cutting down your profit.

At a point, I was rearing 200 birds, meanwhile marketing survey only could covered just 100 to 150 birds,while the rest 50 birds had to be sold because I was pressured. Pressure of feeding the birds everyday without no one coming to buy it. Have it in mind that, after 7 weeks, feeding your birds might not be feeding efficient anymore. On profit part, it is reducing your gain.
