Some poultry farmers who are really into livestock business have failed to realize that, water is very essential to keep birds growing at a speedy rate. As a potential livestock farmer, before one think of setting up a livestock farming business,one thing should be certain, your proximity to water resources should be on standby. Birds base majorly on drinking water to grow at rapid rate. They prefer drinking almost all the time to feeding most especially the bigger birds.

Where birds feed just once in a while,they drink almost all the time. They find fun in drinking than feeding.

Making your birds feel thirsty all the time will partially slow down their growth.

Moreso, birds dwell in drinking to calm their temperature because of the heat they produce from their body since they lack sweat glands.
