Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! I hope you have a great time with your loved ones. These days talking with the guys about various topics came up a pretty extensive conversation of what was our old Minecraft server. Our little server called HiveLand was great, it all happened last year and we will never forget the great experience we had. HiveLand was created for all Hive Gaming users, however, everyone is welcome and there is no problem if you invite a friend who doesn't belong to the platform yet, the goal is to have a good time, make friends and generate content.

HiveLand 2.0

That's right, HiveLand is back. I'd like to say that it was a simple task to bring HiveLand back, but it really wasn't. I spent several days trying to get the server to work as the previous server did through plugins, only this time it would be a hybrid mix between plugins and mods. The result was quite chaotic and brought me a lot of headaches. I want to clarify that I'm not an expert in mods and plugins, I'm not a programmer either, I gave my all and I hope the server works well for the whole month. There are many functions and mods that I wanted to add to make our experience a thousand times better than the previous one, but this would require all of us to have a similar computer, which is totally impossible.

Thinking of all of you, the server only has 40 mods that are quite light, you can decorate your house as you like, go on great adventures, and the best thing is that this time you will be able to communicate with others without using Discord. Get ready to start your series!

The server can host 50 players, which is a lot considering that last time the maximum number of players connected simultaneously was just over 20, so I don't think all the slots will be filled. If the unexpected happens, then I can expand the number of slots to host more players.

Mods and version

The version of Minecraft we decided to play was 1.16.5, it is the intermediate version so to speak. This contains several mods and is usually quite stable and not so old. So you will have to download this version to be able to enter the server. I want to make clear that I do not recommend the use of unofficial Launchers created by third parties, it is your responsibility to download these Launchers.

Forge

Forge is the application you will need to be able to add server mods directly to your game. After you install the Minecraft 1.16.5 version you just need to go to the official Forge website and download the latest version of Forge 1.16.5 - 36.2.39.

After installing Forge a folder called "mods" will be created in your Minecraft directory and it is in that folder where you must paste all the files you downloaded. Configure your launcher profile in the launcher and select the version of Forge you downloaded and you will be able to play. It is totally normal that at the beginning it takes a little while to start so don't worry. See you soon on the server.

Rules

• PvP is only allowed if there is consent from both parties. You can fight with any player whenever you want, but remember that not all of us have the same goals and not all have the same way of playing. Respect other players will be your duty, otherwise you could be kicked out of the server.

• Trust is something that is gained over time, do not think that everyone will feel comfortable with your words, so watch your language with players you barely know.

• Assaults and thefts to another player's property will be allowed from Friday onwards. The player you want to assault must be online and must have at most 2 days playing on the server.

• Do not exploit bugs as this could damage the experience of other players and the server.

• Enjoy a lot.

Although, most of us who are involved speak Spanish, if you are from another country and speak English or another language, you are totally welcome too. I know the communication issue will be a bit complicated, but I would love to have you here. And if I have to talk to you in my bad English, I will.

¡Feliz San Valentín a todos! espero que la pasen genial con sus seres más queridos. Estos días hablando con los muchachos de diversos temas surgió una conversación bastante extensa de lo que fue nuestro viejo servidor de Minecraft. Nuestro pequeño servidor llamado HiveLand fue grandioso, todo ocurrió el año pasado y jamás olvidamos la gran experiencia que tuvimos. HiveLand fue creado para todos los usuarios de Hive Gaming, sin embargo, todos son bienvenidos y no hay ningún problema en que invites a un amigo que aún no pertenezca a la plataforma, el objetivo es pasarla bien, hacer amigos y generar contenido.

HiveLand 2.0

Así es, HiveLand está de vuelta. Quisiera decir que fue una tarea sencilla traer HiveLand de regreso, pero realmente no lo fue. Estuve varios días intentando que el servidor pudiese funcionar como lo hacía el servidor anterior a través de plugins, solo que esta vez sería una mezcla híbrida entre plugins y mods. El resultado fue bastante caótico y me trajo muchos dolores de cabeza. Quiero aclarar que no soy un experto en mods y plugins, tampoco soy programador, di todo de mí y espero que el servidor nos funcione bien durante todo el mes. Hay muchas funciones y mods que quería añadir para hacer de nuestra experiencia mil veces mejor que la anterior, pero esto requeriría que todos dispongamos de un ordenador parecido, cosa que es totalmente imposible.

Pensando en todos, el servidor solo cuenta con 40 mods bastante ligeros, podrás decorar tu casa como quieras, emprender grandes aventuras, y lo mejor es que esta vez podrás comunicarte con los demás sin necesidad de utilizar el Discord. ¡Prepárate para iniciar tu serie!

El servidor puede alojar a 50 jugadores, lo cual es muchísimo considerando que la última vez el máximo de jugadores conectados simultáneamente fue poco más de 20, así que no creo que se llenen todos los espacios. De ocurrir lo inesperado, entonces puedo expandir el número de espacios para alojar a más jugadores.

Versión y Mods

La versión de Minecraft que decidimos jugar fue la 1.16.5, es la versión intermedia por así decirlo. Esta contiene varios mods y suele ser bastante estable y no es tan antigua. Así que deberás de descargar esta versión para poder entrar al servidor. Quiero dejar en claro que no recomiendo el uso de los Launchers no oficiales creados por terceros, queda bajo tu responsabilidad el descargar estos Launchers.

Forge

Forge es la aplicación que necesitarás para poder añadir los mods del servidor directamente a tu juego. Después de que instales la versión de Minecraft 1.16.5 solo deberás de dirigirte a la página oficial de Forge y descargar la última versión de Forge 1.16.5 - 36.2.39.

Después de instalar Forge se creará una carpeta llamada "mods" en tu directorio de Minecraft y es en esa carpeta en donde debes de pegar todos los archivos que descargaste. Configuras tu perfil de lanzamiento en el launcher y seleccionas la versión de Forge que descargaste y ya podrás jugar. Es totalmente normal que al principio se demore un poco en iniciar así que no te preocupes. Te veo pronto en el servidor.

Reglas

• Solo se permite el PvP si hay consentimiento de ambas partes. Podrás luchar con cualquier jugador cada vez que quieras, pero recuerda que no todos tenemos los mismos objetivos y tampoco la misma forma de jugar. Respetar a los demás jugadores será tu deber, de lo contrario podrías ser echado del servidor.

• La confianza es algo que se gana con el tiempo, no pienses que todos se sentirán cómodos con tus palabras, así que cuida tu lenguaje con los jugadores que apenas conozcas.

• Los asaltos y robos a la propiedad de otro jugador estarán permitidas a partir del día Viernes. El jugador al que quieras asaltar deberá de estar conectado y debe de tener como mucho 2 días jugando en el servidor.

• No explotar bugs ya que eso podría perjudicar la experiencia de los demás jugadores y del servidor.

• Disfruta mucho.

Si bien, la mayoría de los que estamos involucrados hablamos español, si eres de otro país y hablas inglés u otro idioma, eres totalmente bienvenido también. Sé que el tema de la comunicación será algo complicado, pero me encantaría tenerte aquí. Y si tengo que hablarte con mi mal inglés, lo haré.
