Son casi las 7 de la noche y yo siempre decido a último minuto empezar a escribir mi post para el @playerhive(acabo de terminar a las 8:35). Menos mal que esta vez leí y el programa comenzará mucho más temprano hoy; sino, hubiese empezado a escribir este post a las 10 😅. No les voy a mentir, la temática me jodió totalmente la cabeza:

"Las Muertes más Dolorosas de Personajes de Videojuegos"

Pensarás que con solo leer la temática se me habrán venido a la cabeza un sinfín de muertes de personajes legendarios, pero la verdad es que no. Soy alguien que olvida muchísimo las cosas. Esto se convierte muchas veces en una ventaja para mí, ya que en varias ocasiones hace que mis juegos favoritos sean muy rejugables, casi como si fuese la primera vez jugándolos, solo que se me vienen destellos de cosas que pasaron en la historia y muchas veces me sé los finales, pero disfruto mucho el transcurso.

La desventaja de esto es que muchas veces me cuesta un montón recordar el nombre de los personajes, sucesos interesantes que hayan ocurrido en un juego o cualquier cosa, pasa con todo. Por suerte, mis amigos me felicitan en mi cumpleaños, sino me olvidaría totalmente de esa fecha.

Tuve que pensar bastante para traer algo acorde a la temática, incluso pensé en hacer un vídeo para hacerlo mucho más llevadero, pero estoy seguro de que con lo quisquilloso que soy, terminaría mañana. Estoy seguro de que varios traerán a este personaje, ya lo veremos. Comencemos con:

Joel - The Last Of Us

The Last Of Us es un juego bastante especial para mí, casi como mi Uncharted; nada puede ocupar el lugar de estas joyas. Joel podrá parecer un personaje normal y corriente, un personaje aburrido, pero él se lleva el corazón de todos con su increíble rol de padre. Siempre me pareció muy emotivo cuando decide asesinar a todos solo para llevarse a Ellie. Pude disfrutar el primer juego cuando tuve mi PS3, pero la segunda parte del juego sí me la disfruté toda gracias a YouTube. Fue entonces cuando algo inesperado y casi tan loco que incluso se armó polémica sucedió: MATAN A JOEL.

De verdad es una lástima si no conoces este juego y te comes este pedazo de spoiler, pero no hay manera, mi hermano. Cuando eso sucedió, yo me quedé: 😲😲😲, luego: 🤐🤐🤐 y luego: 😭😭😭. Al principio me molestó un poco, ya que su muerte realmente te agarra desprevenido, pero luego que entiendes todo lo que pasó dices: Esto es cine puro 🚬.

Sin duda, su muerte es una de las cosas que más me ha impactado a la hora de ver y más tarde jugarlo; es una locura. Ojalá poder conseguir TLOU 1 y 2 para traerlos a 3speak, eso sería una locura. Espero que quienes se unan a la temática el día de hoy traigan también a Joel, sería interesante leer las reacciones de los demás.

Otra muerte que se me ocurrió fue justamente de un personaje de Uncharted, uno de mis personajes favoritos una vez comencé la cuarta entrega:

Samuel Drake - Uncharted 4

Sam Drake es alguien que sabes que existe, pero no sabes realmente cómo es hasta que llegas a jugar Uncharted 4. Apenas el juego comienza, es uno de los primeros personajes con quién podemos tener interacción y te das cuenta de que es el típico hermano que todos querríamos tener, aparte de que es un maestro del parkour. Tanto él como el personaje principal de Uncharted son huérfanos y crecen juntos con un espíritu pirata y exageradamente aventurero.

Y es en ese preciso momento cuando todo se jode. Decidimos colarnos en una cárcel ubicada en Panamá para obtener indicios de un viejo tesoro, pero nada sale como esperábamos. En medio de todo, los guardias nos persiguen y literalmente se arma una guerra. Sam no logra sobrevivir, vemos cómo le disparan y se desploma de un lugar muy alto, claramente cualquiera hubiera muerto en ese lugar.

Al ver esa escena me quedé totalmente helado y hasta lloré. Es impresionante lo bien hecho que está Uncharted 4. Obviamente, después de un rato descubres que en realidad Sam no está muerto y es un alivio total, ¿!Pero cccómo es posible que siga vivo?!

No sabía si meter a Sam en esto, ya que realmente no muere, pero es lo que el juego nos hace creer al principio y honestamente ningún otro personaje se me vino a la mente después de tanto pensar. ¿Cuál sería la peor muerte de un personaje para ti? It's almost 7pm and I always decide at the last minute to start writing my post for the @playerhive. Good thing this time I read and the show will start much earlier today; otherwise, I would have started writing this post at 10 😅. I'm not going to lie to you guys, the subject matter totally fucked with my head:

"The Most Painful Deaths of Video Game Characters".

You'd think that just by reading the theme I would have come to mind countless deaths of legendary characters, but the truth is that I didn't. I'm someone who forgets a lot of deaths of legendary characters. I'm someone who forgets a lot of things. This often becomes an advantage for me, because in many occasions it makes my favorite games very replayable, almost as if it was the first time playing them, only that I get flashes of things that happened in the story and many times I know the endings, but I really enjoy the course.

The disadvantage of this is that many times I have a hard time remembering the names of the characters, interesting events that happened in a game or anything, it happens with everything. Luckily, my friends congratulate me on my birthday, otherwise I would totally forget that date.

I had to think quite a bit to bring something in keeping with the theme, I even thought about making a video to make it much more bearable, but I'm sure as picky as I am, I'd be done tomorrow. I'm sure several will bring this character, we'll see. Let's start with:

Joel - The Last Of Us

The Last Of Us is a pretty special game for me, almost like my Uncharted; nothing can take the place of these gems. Joel may seem like a run-of-the-mill, boring character, but he takes everyone's heart with his amazing role as a father. I always found it very touching when he decides to murder everyone just to take Ellie. I was able to enjoy the first game when I had my PS3, but the second part of the game I did enjoy it all thanks to YouTube. It was then when something unexpected and almost so crazy that it even caused controversy happened: JOEL IS KILLED.

It's really a shame if you don't know this game and you eat this piece of spoiler, but there's no way, my brother. When that happened, I was like: 😲😲😲😲, then: 🤐🤐🤐🤐 and then: 😭😭😭😭. At first it bothered me a bit, as his death really catches you off guard, but after you understand everything that happened you say: this is pure cinema 🚬.

Without a doubt, his death is one of the things that had the biggest impact on me when watching and later playing it; it's insane. I wish I could get TLOU 1 and 2 to bring them to 3speak, that would be insane. I hope whoever joins the theme today brings Joel as well, it would be interesting to read the reactions of others.

Another death that came to mind was just from an Uncharted character, one of my favorite characters once I started the fourth installment:

Samuel Drake - Uncharted 4

Sam Drake is someone you know exists, but you don't really know what he's like until you get to play Uncharted 4. As soon as the game starts, he's one of the first characters we can interact with and you realize he's the typical brother we'd all want to have, plus he's a parkour master. Both he and the main character of Uncharted are orphans and grow up together with a pirate spirit and exaggeratedly adventurous.

And it's at that precise moment when everything gets screwed up. We decide to sneak into a prison located in Panama to get clues to an old treasure, but nothing goes as expected. In the middle of everything, the guards chase us and a war literally breaks out. Sam does not manage to survive, we see how they shoot him and he collapses from a very high place, clearly anyone would have died in that place.

Watching that scene I was totally frozen and even cried. It's amazing how well done Uncharted 4 is. Obviously, after a while you find out that Sam is not actually dead and it's a total relief, but how is it possible that he's still alive?!

I didn't know whether to bring Sam into this, since he doesn't really die, but that's what the game leads us to believe at the beginning and honestly no other character came to mind after so much thought.
