Looking at swapping Bitcoin on the LeoDex and what the fees are.

Today in dis' post going to take a look at swapping fer Bitcoin in da Leo Dex. As asked by one our readers in our community. Moar so if we ever swap fer Bitcoin. Although not swapping fer sum today thought to share moar about swapping different amounts and wut the fees of such swaps would be. So let's look at sum Bitcoin swapping.

Selecting HIVE and BTC. Haven't entered any numbers yet. Let's see wut da minimum may be. Last time dis was explored da minimum wasn't worth da fee. So be cautious of dis.

Da fee in dis' case appears to be just over 59 Hive. At Sixty (60) it appears to be just enough to cover da fee. Wouldn't want to receive $0.07 of $19.22 with a $17.95 fee or so. These numbers don't quite add up either. So sum'ting is moar of an estimate. Let's ten X (10X) (600 HIVE) it like we did before and look at sumtin' moar realistic.

So with 600 HIVE ($191.50) the (est.) fee ($0.81 + $17.91 = $18.71) appears to be close to ten percent (10%). Dis swap would get you about 0.00253765 BTC ($159.39). Looking at another ten X may reduce da fee closer to one percent as seen in another trade (fer $PEPE). Let's see..

Ten X (10X) brings at a look at a swap of 6,000 HIVE ($1,914.11) fer Bitcoin. The amount to receive would be (about) 0.02535262 BTC ($1,591.69) with estimated fees of $7.80 and $17.91 ($25.71) at an estimated rate of 1 HIVE = 0.00000423 BTC. So closer to about 1 1/4% which is much better.

Select(ing) Token - Hive is easy to find. LEO is under ARB.

347 $LEO appears to be da minimum to simulate a swap of $LEO and $BTC with just enough to cover da gas fees. Let's ten X (10X) and see.

3,470 $LEO ($316.43) simulates a swap fer 0.00444105 BTC ($278.79) with (est.) fees of $1.42 and $31.51 ($32.93) being a little moar than ten percent (10%). Going another ten X (10X) may reduce da fee(s) to around one to one and a half percent (1-1.5%).

A simulated swap of 34,700 ($3,163.91) fer 0.04369946 BTC ($2,743.23) with (est.) fees of $14.22 and $35.09 ($49.71) bring the fee cost under two percent (2%) from around da previous ten percent (10%).

Of course a fee may be fair wut you trying to accomplish. Goal is simply get into a different crypto / token from another. Just be mindful of da fess and plan accordingly. However may be da best fer you. Not actually swapping fer Bitcoin at dis time.
