Today is my 5th birthday on Hive!

5 years!

August 1st 2017, it seems like ages ago, I was completely new to this place and was expecting 500 $ rewards from posts and online fame. It did not take long for me to fall from the pink cloud. But I stuck through it! And boy am I glad I did. I have learned so much about so many different subjects and still am learning every single day!
I got to know so many people from all corners of this planet.

And the best thing about all of this… I made money while doing all of this!

I am celebrating this with a good West-Vleteren XII, the best beer in the world! It’s a great day, a landmark and at the same time we are still in the early days! There’s so much to come…

Happy 5th birthday on Hive. I think the illusion of easy money disappears quite fast when you realize that it isn't easy.
