Elon the influencer

Elon Musk is the ultimate influencer in the virtual world, he is THE fighter of free speech, bought Twitter and made it a free speech heaven. And he, himself is very active on the platform.

Now, lately he posted this:

A true case for a CO2 or carbon taxation on goods and services. Of which I was quite baffled. I didn’t expect this from him, I considered him a true freedom fighter, and this goes in against all freedom.

To the contrary, it is a taxation that will only benefit the rich, they won’t have any problem paying a bit more for a flight or a meal. But the average person will feel this the most. It’s not a solution, it’s a way of paying of guilt! And the more money you have, the more guilty pleasures one can have.

Plant more trees

If CO2 is really the problem, which I sincerely doubt, there is an easy solution to it. We just need to plant more trees. The average tree absorbs 24 kilograms of CO2 per year. So there’s a true solution. One that doesn’t cost a lot of money, and it creates oxygen, literally!
