Bitcoin hash rate at all time high!

avatar

769,8 Exahash

Bitcoin’s halving event in May of this year was the start of a rise of the hashrate of Bitcoin, but at the same time prices have also risen. Yesterday we hit a new record hashrate of 769,8 Exahash, a number almost impossible to explain.

With the halving miners have invested in more energy efficient miners and smaller miners were pushed outside of the market because of lower profitability. But there was a fear that lots of miners would sell a huge chunk of their mined coins to invest in newer, more efficient hardware. But that number is surprisingly low. Just shy of 3000 BTC was sold by the miners. Which had very little effect on the price.

Smaller miners profitable again?

The rising price of Bitcoin has also reinstated smaller miners again, because it became profitable again. Which had an immediate effect on the difficulty and the hashrate. It seems like the hashrate will rise a lot more in the coming months which will in turn make prices also rise more.

It seems like the bullrun has begun!

Sincerely,

Pele23

Hash rate on ATH only means more and more people/companies/institutions are mining Bitcoin since they believe in its value. Bullish! 💪🏻

A child can start this video with a mouse click and understand what they were watching. What's your excuse for not being able to do it Lasse?

Lets assume that Bitcoin uses the same ressources as Sweden or Finland, compare that with DPOS (Titan X) which uses minimum around 20 Raspberry Pi's (around one modern household ressource consumption) and it does not go up with more users (no miners, Bitcoins consumption goes up with more miners) then its EASY FOR A CHILD to understand that DPOS (Titan X) is much better than Bitcoin for the envirounment in very extreme terms.

A child can understand which is best.

What "resources" are you even comparing it to? Water for cooling? Power to run the miners? Of course you don't know. I know you probably copy-pasted that from some website and if that website was referring to that biased study in which the researchers didn't even know about the four year halving and two week difficulty afjustment cycles then that would track with the level of sloppy research for the thesis you wrote to get your economics degree. Wherever you are plagiarizing from probably at least attributed their primary source.

It doesn't matter anyway but I'll throw you a bone. BITCOIN, THE WORLD'S MOST SECURE AND POWERFUL COMPUTER NETWORK USES LOTS OF ELECTRICITY! FILM AT 11! Do you feel better now Lasse? Titan X uses the internet and the internet uses around 10% of the world's power so Titan X is energy wasteful. See? Biased results are easy to come up with.

But I can't remember the last time you were intellectually honest or just plain honest so I guess we'll start off with your terrible understanding and see where you go with this.

Are you forcing me on a crappy crypto version of The Magic School Bus because @offgridlife knew better than to show up?

compare that with DPOS (Titan X) which uses minimum around 20 Raspberry Pi's (around one modern household ressource consumption)

Instead of Raspberry Pi just be honest and say we're comparing apples and oranges. Oh, right. Sorry. We're seeing where your intellectual dishonesty will take us. I actually own three Raspberry Pi boards. If I were you I would have been more accurate with made up figures to justify made up resource consumption levels. Raspberry Pi 4 at max load consumes less than 10 Watts. You can have those 20 boards running off a car battery. You live in one of those tiny homes Lasse?

But you messed up clicking the mouse button to watch the YouTube video embedded in my previous reply. Get your son to help you next time.

and it does not go up with more users

Are these imaginary users of Titan X the "professional bloggers" you onboarded and allegedly paid 16 HBD each to for AI-generated posts on Hive? My guess is yes they are.

Bitcoins consumption goes up with more miners

Again "crypto expert" neither you or the researchers of the paper you don't give credit to know about bitcoin difficulty readjustment.

Hey, I see Stupid Town up ahead! Is that where you are taking us?

then its EASY FOR A CHILD to understand that DPOS (Titan X) is much better than Bitcoin for the envirounment in very extreme terms.

And also far more prone to centralization. But we can't say 51% attack since Bitcoin is an apple and you are comparing it to a orange...Oh, hey, is that why you love Titan X? Because the founder of your new favorite crypto scam is whining about how small Titan X is and therefore Titan X is the only shitcoin that can make you a whale?

Oh, you were taking us to Stupid Town the whole time on the deception express. Why didn't you tell me you were the mayor of Stupid Town Lasse? Congradulations!

Dude seriously this is too long.

The ressources of Bitcoin mining is obviously, mining equiptment (which gets outdated fast so new is produced), buildings, electricity, cooling and whatever needed to run huge mining centers. Its a huge wast when you can just use DPOS which only uses 20 raspberry pi's that dont even need to be replaces every half year.

If you dont understand, sorry then I cant help you, I think most children would understand it.

Believe me I understand. You are a lazy ass pseudo-intellectual who is grossly dishonest and thinks that gaslighting is a legitimate debate tactic. Not only is that not libelous it isn't even an insult. You make that clear in your own words in the parts of your posts that aren't plagiarized from some random webpage you got the link to from some random crypto scam promoter in some random forum. You demand people watch your pseudoscience video recommendations and when someone presents a video that can prove you wrong you act like you lost the cognitive ability to click a mouse button. You can't even pretend like you watched the video I embedded because that would immediately prove you never watched the video. So you are purposely ignorant of all the large Bitcoin mining farms using renewable energy. As a "crypto expert" you are too lazy to even keep up with the news so you don't know that solo Bitcoin mining is still a thing. Not only are you not paying attention to mainstream news you couldn't even be bothered to read @offgridlife's post about it on Hive. After you tried to sucker him into your latest favorite crypto scam you could at least do him the courtesy of reading his posts.

I am fairly certain you aren't mining with 20 Raspberry Pis. You don't seem to know that even though the board runs with less than 10 Watts it can still generate a massive amount of waste heat. I have one connected to another monitor and it has a cooling fan and heat sink. The main reason you would be mining with a Raspberry Pi is you can overclock it without voiding the warranty. So more additional waste heat to mine your shitcoin. And where is that energy coming from if you were mining with 20 Raspberry Pies? It's not being powered by a panel that converts your virtue signaling into electricity.

If you want to change the subject that's fine with me because I already got all of your misunderstanding about Bitcoin from 2014 news articles.

So let's talk about your "superior" more energy efficient shitcoins. How's your XEN minting coming along? You haven't posted about that since June 22. To show you how long that's been I got this XEN price chart off coingecko.com and marked June 22, 2024 when you last posted about XEN.

By the way, note that it is a "price chart" for the last year. Not a chart showing how XEN has been reducing its power consumption.

That is so true dude! I was explaining to this idiot the other day that the internet uses around 10% of the world's power so it is clearly more outdated than smoke signals and those birds we can use to carry paper notes. Who needs fucking email when birds can do it? Combine that 10% internet energy waste with the less than 1% that the filthy bitcoin uses and we can see that getting rid of the internet and bitcoin would save 11% of the world's power.

Damn 11 is a huge number! I have to take off a shoe to count to 11.
