Average hourly wage in different countries in Europe, insane differences!

Divided we fall

Europe is very diverse, but this graphic of the hourly wage in the different countries of thd European Union is complete insanity. The differences in the wages in the different countries of the EU is so immensely big, it is impossible to talk about an economic union. Let alone a monetary union.

This shows that the European Union is impossible to hold as it is right now. Countries like Norway or Luxemburg pay 4 to 5 times more hourly wage than in countries like Portugal or Hungary.

A disaster waiting to happen, if you know that free traffic of labour and goods is one of the first amendments in the European law.

Before taxes

These prices in the graph are obviously before taxes, which means that for instance in Belgium only 45 % of the actual rawe hourly wage gets into the wallet of the earner. In othee countries, it is different. France has about the same labour tax like Belgium.

But for instance in Portugal, people get to keep a lot more of their wage before taxes, relatively put in percentages of their brute wage.

Different wage, different taxes

Wages may differ in a lot of countries, so does the taxation system. The European Union is there, bit in realitty, every country has their own taxation system. A complete chaos it is!

Sincerely,

Pel23

There's no doubt zero union among them. But I guess it's all a front to make them look more stronger in people's eyes.
