During my student years, I worked to supplement income and cover expenses, and in between those jobs, I had several where I had to deal with the public, and I learned that the experience could be exhausting, stressful, and very annoying.
It's a challenge to patience, and when it comes to things that have to do with food or health, people can be even more stubborn.
I congratulate you for managing to control yourself so as not to explode.

I am sure you have numerous stories of your encounters with difficult people during your time dealing with the public
Luckily, there weren't too many encounters with unpleasant people. Most of those things I've forgotten. I guess one of the advantages of selective forgetting is that it makes memories always seem nicer to me :)
