I've had a Wednesday a little busier than other weeks, I left home with my brother to look for some groceries, and it turns out that a heavy downpour fell on us, it barely drizzled when we left home, but when we were about to return, and we were walking without having brought an umbrella, a heavy rain broke out, when we got home we could wring water out of all our clothes as if we had gone swimming in a river, but when we changed and started to prepare some tea to warm ourselves, we see through the window that it clears everything, and it doesn't look like it's going to rain anymore... Yes, it only rained to get us wet, that was strange and in part it's a bit cruel, it's like the old saying that "when the poor wash, it rains"
Despite all this, and the discomfort of being drenched in rain, there were things to do and we got to work. In my case, I finally finished making adjustments to the Hardware that my brother left me when he upgraded his computer, put all the pieces back together and added the ones that were mine, so I'm writing from a new machine right now. Ok, it's not that the pieces are new, it's that I'm using it for the first time, in short, it's more powerful than what I used, but I still have to adjust configuration details and complete the installation of programs with which I usually work, it's something I can start doing tomorrow.
One detail that I am not going to change is the name he gave his machine: Quatre. Don't ask me why he gave it a name in French, I never questioned it, and as for why I don't give it a new name... well let's say I'm sentimental, something like drivers who give their car a name and they have a relationship with the car as if it were a living being, something similar happens to me with the computer.
803 days have passed since the Friday the start of the #quarantine was announced in #Venezuela due to #COVID-19, which at that time was called #Pandemic and an online friend already told me yesterday that at this point it is classified as #endemic. In any case, I would like it to soon be possible to control this disease and not complicate our lives. I wish you well and that we can read each other another time.

He tenido un día miércoles un poco más movido que otras semanas, salí de casa con mi hermano a buscar unos víveres y resulta que nos ha caído un fuerte aguacero, apenas lloviznaba cuando salimos de casa, pero cuando estábamos por regresar, y estábamos caminando sin haber llevado paraguas, se desató una fuerte lluvia, al llegar a casa podíamos escurrir agua de toda nuestra ropa como si nos hubiéramos tirado a nadar en un río, pero al cambiarnos y poner a preparar un té para calentarnos, vemos por la ventana que se despeja todo y no se ve que fuera a llover más... Si, solamente llovió para mojarnos, eso fue raro y en parte es un poco cruel, es como el viejo refrán de que "cuando el pobre lava, llueve"
A pesar de todo esto, y el malestar de haber quedado empapados de lluvia, había cosas que hacer y nos pusimos a trabajar. En mi caso, por fin terminé de hacer los ajustes en el Hardware que me dejó mi hermano al actualizar su computadora, armé de nuevo todas las piezas y agregue las que eran mías, así que en este momento estoy escribiendo desde una nueva máquina... ok, no es que sean nuevas las piezas, es que yo la estoy usando por primera vez, en fin, que es más potente que lo que yo usaba, pero aún debo ajustar detalles de configuración y completar la instalación de programas con los que suelo trabajar, es algo que puedo ir haciendo ya mañana.
Un detalle que no le voy a cambiar es el nombre que él le dio a su máquina: Quatre. No me preguntes por qué le dio un nombre en francés, yo nunca lo cuestioné, y en cuanto a porque no le doy un nuevo nombre... pues digamos que soy sentimental, algo así como los conductores que le dan un nombre a su carro y tienen una relación con el carro como si fuera un ser vivo, algo parecido me pasa con la computadora.
Han pasado 803 días desde el viernes en que se anunció el inicio de la #Cuarentena en #Venezuela por el #Covid19, que es ese momento era denominado #Pandemia y ya un amigo en línea me comentó ayer que a estas alturas se le clasifica como #endemia. Como sea, me agradaría que pronto se pueda controlar esa enfermedad y no se nos complique la vida. Te deseo que estés bien y que nos podamos leer en otra oportunidad.

Your computer looks beautiful, it looks new, if you saw mine you would fall backwards, dust and dirt everywhere, but it works like this, I have it for more than 14 years, the problem I have now is the monitor that can't take it anymore, I have to buy another one.
