Novice Player Guide: Know your "Playable" Splinterlands Summoners - WIZARD OF EASTWOOD

I am happy to share with you my experiences and growth on the Splinterlands game. My growth would inspire anyone here that feels its hard to start up engaging the splinterlands game and community. I joined Hive as a total crypto novice. I joined splinterlands as a game novice as well, but I can say my progress is tangible.

The Splinterlands game is free to play as well as play to earn. You don't need money to start playing, yet, you can earn some crypto doing so. Sharing your experiences and guide as I am ding would also earn you some crypto rewards as upvote. This post is to serve as a guide to a Novice Splinterlands player, expositing the playable Summoners in the Novice league, and how to utilize them.

In a previous post, I had explained how the Tarsa and Kelya Frendul playable summoners work. The splinterlands game give you access to 11 summoners as a novice player and each of them have their special abilities and ways of influencing the battles they lead.

Do not forget that your summoners are battle commanders. The effectiveness of the summoner would affect the entire performance of the monster units. The different summoners are selected from the Six splinter categories that exist in the game - Fire, water, eat, life, death and dragon.

Today's post would be focused on this newly discovered summoner known as WIZARD OF EASTWOO. Below are the full details of the summoner card.

• Card rarity: RARE
• Splinter type: Earth Summoner
• Card Type: Untamed
• Present price for Level 1 Card: $2.58
• Manna cap - 3
• Abilities: All enemy Monsters have -2 Health

The Wizard of Eastwood is the long-time rival of the Magi of the Forest. The Magi no longer summons, but teaches new summoners from his Summoner's Green school in the Western Forest. The Wizard of Eastwood, who had chosen a life of selfish seclusion so many years ago, has suddenly returned as a formidable contending summoner to the Mount Mox tournaments. source

When selecting the WIZARD OF EASTWOOD summoner as a novice player, it calls about 16 earth monster units playable in the battle. I own 3 earth monsters that is why the screenshot below shows 19.

I started using WIZARD OF EASTWOOD not long ago, but the few battles I've played with it are worth the efforts. WIZARD OF EASTWOOD is a rugged fighter that first disarms the enemy monsters and makes them more vulnerable for friendly monster attacks. There are a lot of interesting monsters that fight with WIZARD OF EASTWOOD

my favourite among these monsters useable with WIZARD OF EASTWOOD are:

1. VENARI KNIFER
2. MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN

VENARI is a thorn monster that has the ability to destroy an enemy monster that attacks with the melee element. It is also a melee attacker with a high speed of "4".

MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN on the other hand is a magic attacker with 2 magic attck and 2 speed but susceptible to attacks from all the enemy monsters.

I like placing VENARI KNIFER on the front of the battle.

I am yet to understand how effective my owned earth monsters can be when performing in battles. Try out WIZARD OF EASTWOOD in your next battle and share your experience with me.
