My Introductory Post On Hive

My name is Ruth Ene Anyebe, i hail from Ohimini Local Government Area of Benue State, Nigeria.
Am 24 years old and a graduate of the Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo. I studied Mass Communication. Am the second in a family of seven and the first daughter in the family.
I was born and brought up in Suleja, Niger State and have been there ever since except for occassional travels outside the State. My Dad always found my birth date easy to remember because i was exactly a month old when a prominent military head of State in Nigeria died, so all he had to do was back date a month and my birth date will be wide in the open.
I want to thank my brother, @assegai for introducing me to this awesome community where i can meet with other experienced writers and content creators from all over the world. A community i will get to learn from the vast cultures of the world and meet prolific writers from different disciplines and fields, brother am very greatful.
I discovered my love for reading and writing at a very early age. My Father was a school teacher so it was pretty understandable for us to be glued to our books most hours of the day. I still remembered shoving the science related books aside and picking up the more literally ones to read but at the end of every reading session, you have to showcase what you have learnt, touching all aspects. I grew up prefering to spend more time with my novels than sitting around with kids, playing local games. I would sit for hours on end with eyes widely glued to my books and later on picking my pen to recreate what i have learnt.
I opted to study mass communication instead of my intial intention to go for business administration due to my love for the information line. I cherish going out to the streets to hunt for news, authentic news and interview people willing to offer an information to our object of study. I did my IT(Information Technology) at Otukpo in Benue state were i was attached to Joy Fm, the most popular radio station in that region of the state. I see information as the cursor of life. Your daily activities are programed based on the infomation you come in contact with. An individual who is deprived of necessary information is deprived the right to life. Information is the key to moving the world and making it much better. Every achievement in the world has been brought about through information.
Am a reader and a writer who feed on deverse literally works ranging from African literature and round various book, being it comic, romance, action or adventure. My favourite choice of books tend to heavily rest on actions and adventures. Am alo a writer, although unpublised still i have the feeling and zeal to make my writing journey a success.

Am also the cheerful and friendly type because i like making new friends and hearing about new culrures, traditions, norms and values all over the world. As it is well know, a reader increases his pool of knowledge and experience that the reader may not have had in the past but reading helps to shed light and increases the readers stock of knowledge and ways in which the reader will handle life various challenges.
Writing is the easiest way to communicate and it requires twice as low as the degree of confidence one needs when giving a speech, verbally. While writing there are lots of leverages to pour out one's mind and empty even the deepest recess of our soul.
I also love cooking, its normal for a lady coming from my part of the world but i take it as fun and will also want to try out cooking new dishes.
I also have passion for singing. Singing is the soul of the world and every human is always moved by good music. It soothes the mind and serves as a balm to the soul. Good music can act as an elixir that makes the mind, soul and body feel brand new.
Am a sport player. My favourite games are the vollyball and football. I spend mosts of my weekends having fun at one of the above mentioned games. And i very often do spend time watching some highly rated football matches.
Am very glad to be among such a great community and i promise to abide by the rules and regulations guiding the community. Am very happy i will get to learn from seasoned writers as well as from other writers who are proficient in various other fields.
