Braided a friend's hair using extension
braiding Honor's hair
Introduction
Hi @carmary and many others, it pleases me to belong to a group of people who care not only about their body but their hair, of course the hair is an essential part of us which constitutes our looks therefore should be treated as important.
I know my stay with you guys is gonna be fun, going through the various posts, I've learnt a lot already. Subscribing and joining this community isn't a mistake and this actually is my first post.
Taking a look at my introduction post, I described myself as being creative and trying out new things, I do braid hair although not completely perfect in it, of course I'm not trained. I'll gladly showcase some of my works to you of which I'll gladly accept ratings and corrections.
Braiding a friend's hair
Recently, a friend of mine visited me. She asked me to help braid her hair using an extension. Since she's dark complexioned, she prefers using light and sharp colours of extensions on her hair. This time around, she opted for maroon color which she came with.
One thing I really do appreciate my friends who come to me for hair braiding is that they make me perfect as each day passes by, although I'm not a certified hair stylist, the confidence that they'll go home with satisfactory hairdos do make me put in my very best.
Honor as that's my friend's name went for knot-less braid hairstyle of moderate length (not too long nor short) and boom we were in for the day's business.
kick off
And the braiding went on and on, I think the hair consumed about 5-6 hours of our time. After braiding, I went ahead to put on the finishing touches which involves trimming the hair, trimming actually sheds off unwanted parts of the extension and makes it perfect. I went ahead to dip the fringes of the extension in boiled water, this makes the hair neater and smooth. Honor was impressed with the result and promised to come back another time.
and we're done
Conclusion
There's this feeling one experiences when one does something out of passion or likeness. That's the exact feeling I derive, the fact that I can use my hands to make something creative makes me feel on top of the world.
I'll be dropping subsequent posts on hair braiding and styles. Anticipate a whole lot from me.

Thanks for the compliment boss, I'm looking for avenues to keep learning
Multitasking isn't bad, my friend loves penetrating colors since she's dark already
I personally love black too
Sure. Learning should never end as long as life hasnt ended. Keep it up. Black is natural
Infact, you are creative, your friend hair was beautiful, although, the braid hair using extension took about five to six hours, life is not easy, keep it up.
