Music over the years has been a form of entertainment and a way of conveying significant messages. Among the various songs that have been released over the years, there is one that is my all-time favorite captured my heart and inspired me since I was young.

Whitney Houston's "Greatest Love of All". It's a song that is not just inspiring but powerful. I think a lot of us must have listened to this song at least once because it was very popular during my childhood days.

The first time I heard the song was when my mum bought a CD containing different compilations of music from different musicians. Out of all the music on the CD, this song by Whitney caught my attention from the playing of the piano to her vocals. It sent chills down my spine. I was hooked on the song lyrics and the message the song was passing left an everlasting impression on me.

The message of this song it's Why I love this song so much. It's a song about self-love and gaining strength to be your best self. As a young girl growing up, I was always questioning my value and self-worth this song was a reminder to always value and appreciate myself for who I am. Learning to love myself is a necessity for a happy life.

It has a deep message, most of the time people or even parents tend to judge their children based on their flaws thereby making them lose their self-worth and value at a tender age and this affects them when they get to adulthood. So this song tells us that despite their flaws we should teach them that they are beautiful inside and full of value so that they can love themselves.

Whenever I am also feeling down, this song serves as an encouragement and it motivates me to always embrace myself and my imperfections striving to become a better version of myself like the lyrics "loving yourself is the greatest love of all'.

Beyond the message it conveys, Whitney's vocals are breathtaking. The song was released in 1986 and it was a masterpiece that has remained a classic since then. The song is very popular and most of us must have listened to it those who haven't should try and listen to it at least once and it will feed your soul.
