REDEFINING THE START OF THE DAY IN A WEEK- THE PERFECT MONDAY
If there is a day I always frown at, it's most likely Monday because there is just something about it after all the fun weekends that just changes my mood. My Sunday evenings are always full of anxiety in anticipation of Monday. Thinking of yet another day to face the reality of life which includes working. I see it as the busiest day and sometimes I ask myself if Mondays could be included as a weekend too. There's always a way I envision my perfect Mondays to be, slow and peaceful not with the stress that comes with the hustling.
I want to wake up naturally on a Monday and not with the sounds of an alarm ringing into my ears. The sound alone is scary for me it means another day of hustling has started. Sometimes the anticipation of the alarm won't even make me sleep well and I will just be waking up to check the time frequently so that I won't sleep past the time and this makes me tired on a Monday morning. Waking up naturally sets the tempo for a beautiful day because you are rested and content.

My perfect Monday should include having time to make the breakfast I crave and eat it properly and not having to rush and make just anything because I have to meet up with time or rush to work and have a roadside snack and sometimes I don't even take breakfast till lunch. Having time to fully enjoy my meal, it's a luxury I don't have on a Monday morning.
Mondays are always tedious so my perfect Monday should include timely breaks during work hours rather than exhaustion because of too much work and no breaks. So that I can go through the week with enough energy and not be overwhelmed so that the week can be fulfilling and I can have a relaxed outlook instead of being stressed.
The timely breaks between work will enable me to have some sort of relaxation time through meditation or whatever that will just take my mind off the noise of the day for at least 30 minutes. My Monday should also involve gisting with my loved ones and telling them how my day went as a form of relaxation after the day's work but because of exhaustion and how busy my Mondays are, once I get home, take my bath, eat am off to bed.
Whether we are scared of Mondays or not because it's always a busy day, the power to make our Mondays awesome rests with us. We should always look forward to Mondays with a positive attitude create the perfect Monday for ourselves and be happy with how the day went. Rather than seeing it as another day that will stress us and finish up piled-up work from the previous week. It's our reaction that matters. We should make Monday a day we look up to and face our fears head-on. If Mondays gives you a lemon, make lemonade out of it.
I love the last quote. If Monday give you a lemon make a lemonade out of it
