A JOURNEY THROUGH MY BEST AND WORST TRAITS

Happy weekend everyone!
It was a tough one choosing a topic because the topics were all interesting and due to my indecisiveness it was really hard. I finally got to choose one.
Thanks to @galenkp for the interesting topics.

We all as humans have unique
combinations of personality traits that are distinctive which can lead to both positive and negative outcomes in all areas of life. As we are different, our personality differs. I have different personalities that make people view me one way or the other but let's delve into my worst and best personality and how it has affected my life both positively and negatively.

MY WORST TRAIT
INDECISIVENESS: I can boldly say that this is the worst trait I have. I often struggle in making decisions. Sometimes, the desire to choose which is the best option can get me confused or even take a longer time. I find it hard to make decisions especially when faced with multiple attractive options.

The positive effect of this trait is that sometimes I see it as a strength in situations that require careful deliberation allowing me to navigate complex issues with thoughtfulness thereby simplifying them. It helped me a lot when I was in school especially when we were given a group project taking my time to think and not having a decision at that moment, helped me out with a lot of topics.

This trait affects me negatively because it can lead to delays and frustration. Having to make a quick decision is not my forte because I'll just be confused. It has caused me to miss opportunities. I knew then how I struggled to choose a career path because of indecisiveness because I was interested in so many fields. It was really hard.

MY BEST TRAIT
CURIOSITY: I think this is one of my best traits because it has led me to always seek new knowledge and experience. I always take a genuine interest in learning about various new ideas but sometimes indecisiveness kicks in.

The positive effect of this trait is it makes me engage more with various people on different topics because of the ideas I have gathered and the fact that I always want to know. This fosters a better understanding and appreciation of the world for example.

The Negative effect of this trait can sometimes manifest as nosiness. People tend to think am prying too much when I just want to learn. This has led to unnecessary drama in the past which led to names like "busybody.

I think that every trait has its positive and negative effects. The key is to have a balance and let your strengths dominate while being mindful of your weaknesses.

I also have curious mindset and this helps us a lot to learn and get knowledge about different things. I look at everything with child like curiousity and it's never ending thing.
