BRAHMTAL : A beautiful lake.๐
Hello everyone.....
I hope you guys are fine and doing great in your life.....
So guys, today i was deleting unnecessary photos from my gallery when I stumbled upon some fantastic and stunning photos of an old track. I thought, why not share these photos with all of you? This story is about the great trek we did to Rupkund in the beginning of February. Before that, we decided to do the Brahmatal trek. Brahmatal is located in Chamoli district, approximately 145 km from Almora. Its altitude is around 12,150 ft from sea level.
We began our journey from Almora, our hometown. On the way, we came across the most beautiful and stunning hill stations. First, we reached Kausani, known as the Switzerland of Uttarakhand.
After that, we had lunch in Gwaldam because the journey was quite long, so we stopped at various places to have some food or tea. Then we reached Dewal via Tharali and Mangeli, and finally, we arrived at Lohajung, which is the last stop of the Brahmatal trek. There, we were welcomed by our local friend, and we stayed at a hotel for the night. The next morning, we began the Brahmatal trek.
Brahmatal is named after Lord Brahma, one of the Hindu gods. The trek was approximately 14 km long. Normally, it takes two days to complete, but as you all know we belongs to hill area, so we completed it in one day๐. The path leading to Brahmatal was incredibly beautiful, with snow-covered hills and valleys, and nestled in these valleys was the beautiful Brahmatal Lake, which was enchanting.
Since it's a winter trek, and snowfall occurs from December to February, everything looks breathtakingly beautiful during this time. After mid-February, the snow starts melting, and the view is not as stunning. One of my friends went there with his friends in March, and their experience was a bit different.
At the and i want to advice that , if you want to experience the best of Brahmatal, then trekking here between December and February is the best time.
And I am sharing some wonderful photos of this trek with you guys, I hope you like it, but there are not many photos because our main trek was of Roopkund, and we wanted to save as much battery as possible in camera๐
Thank you๐ค
