Being a Better Person Everyday
Why are you where you are, why aren't you doing as great as you ought to? That question is often asked by over 80% of the world's population but then it looks like they all of a sudden forget what they were worried about before and are still at the same position.
First, realization is key. A lot of people wake up everyday, doing nothing and when they decide to work, they just do the barest minimum finding over 100 excuse for what they should do. Actually, some people want to do it but they lazy away while other spend their entire day doing things that are not adding to their progress but are addictive because they feed the brain with comfort and the brain wants more.
One thing that take away people's time is social media and it is doing more damage than good in the aspect of achieving what you want to achieve. 1 in every 2 young American downloads TicTok on an average and overtime this will continue because companies are going to ensure you are glued to that screen.
Now that I am done telling you that, you begin to look at why you haven't done much in the past years? One of the reason is because you do not acknowledge small wins. Small wins might require minimal efforts to complete and then pick other things instead of being glued to that collective comfort zone. Talking about comfort zone, if you really want to succeed beyond what others are doing, then you should do at least one uncomfortable thing a day. Just do it and then you would see that you can do a lot of things without being uncomfortable overtime.
Once you have been able to do one discomforting thing a day and do them well over time, you should start working on one painful thing a day. Pain is painful and it sucks but when you are going to succeed, you cannot get result without going through the pain. It is better to choose a pain that would help you succeed that to get a pain from ignorance, and failure.
