Cuatro detectives en cuatro épocas distintas se encuentran investigando el mismo asesinato 😧.. Esto fué lo primero que leí y me llamó la atención de esta serie, ya que soy muy fan de los viajes en el tiempo. Amo las películas y series con distintas líneas temporales.

CADÁVERES es una mini serie Británica de crimen, suspenso, drama y ficción. Fué escrita y creada principalmente para Netflix por Paul Tomalin, y basada en la novela gráfica de DC Vértigo.

La serie cuenta con 8 episodios y se estrenó en Netflix el 19 de octubre.

Cadáveres nos ubica en cuatro épocas distintas: 1890, 1941, 2023 y 2053.

Cuatro detectives de estas diferentes épocas, encuentran el cadáver de una misma víctima en el barrio londinense de Whitechapel. ¿Cómo es esto posible? 😦 De alguna manera tiene haber un elemento que relacione el cadáver con las distintas épocas.

Aquí es donde entra un personaje que aparece a lo largo de más de 150 años, me refiero a Elias Mannix, papel interpretado por el actor Stephen Graham.

En el año 2053 Elias Mannix logra una "nueva era" en Londres. Hubo muchos sacrificios en este proceso. Esto no hubiese pasado si no viajase en el tiempo al año 1890 y se convirtiese en SIR JULIAN HARKER.

Elias Mannix es hallado en el año 1890 en Longharvest Lane, y fue trasladado al hospital, donde pide la presencia de Lady Agatha Harker, madre de Sir Julian Harker, quien murió en la guerra cuatro años antes. Mannix afirma ser su hijo y logra convencer a Lady Agatha.

Mannix graba varios mensajes para su yo del futuro de 15 años, en ellos le pide viajar a Londres para acabar con la vida de varias personas e iniciar una “nueva era", donde hay libertad y "el amor lo es todo”.

Con esta conspiración se creó un bucle temporal ⏳🔁

El científico líder en el campo de la teoría de la gravedad cuántica Gabriel Defoe busca impedir que Mannix ejecute su plan, pero cuando ya está en "la garganta" (nombre que otorgan a la bola de energía o pasaje por donde se puede viajar en el tiempo), este recibe un impacto de bala a manos de DC Maplewood, la detective del año 2053 quien fue manipulada por Mannix y su visión del futuro.

Esto ocasiona que el cuerpo del científico Defoe quede dividido y termine en cuatro períodos de tiempo diferentes.

En mi opinión, la serie está buena y entretenida. Como siempre NETFLIX agregó la parte gay con 2 personajes. Yo no tengo nada en contra de la inclusión, pero si me parece que últimamente todo está muy forzado y muchas veces estas escenas no aportan absolutamente nada a la trama.

(A pesar de esto, siento que el romance de estos 2 personajes es lindo 😆)

Leí artículos donde comparan esta serie con DARK, yo soy muy fan de Dark, es mi serie preferida 😎 y la verdad, la considero MUY superior a Bodies.

Four detectives in four different eras find themselves investigating the same murder 😧.... This was the first thing I read and it caught my attention about this TV show, as I am a big fan of time travel. I love movies and series with different timelines.

BODIES is a British crime, suspense, drama and fiction mini-series. It was written and created primarily for Netflix by Paul Tomalin, and based on the DC Vertigo graphic novel.

The series has 8 episodes and premiered on Netflix on October 19.

BODIES places us in four different eras: 1890, 1941, 2023 and 2053.

Four detectives from these different eras, find the corpse of the same victim in the London neighborhood of Whitechapel. How is this possible? 😦 Somehow there has to be an element that links the corpse to the different eras.

This is where a character that appears over 150 years comes in, I'm referring to Elias Mannix, a role played by actor Stephen Graham.

In the year 2053 Elias Mannix achieves a "new era" in London. There were many sacrifices in this process. This would not have happened if he did not travel back in time to the year 1890 and become SIR JULIAN HARKER.

Elias Mannix is found in the year 1890 in Longharvest Lane, and was taken to the hospital, where he requests the presence of Lady Agatha Harker, mother of Sir Julian Harker, who died in the war four years earlier. Mannix claims to be her son and manages to convince Lady Agatha.

Mannix records several messages for his 15-year-old future self, in which he asks her to travel to London to end the lives of several people and initiate a "new era", where there is freedom and **"love is everything".

With this conspiracy, a time loop was created ⏳🔁

The leading scientist in the field of quantum gravity theory Gabriel Defoe seeks to stop Mannix from executing his plan, but when he is already in "the throat" (the name they give to the energy ball or passage through which you can travel in time), this receives a bullet impact at the hands of DC Maplewood, the detective of the year 2053 who was manipulated by Mannix and his vision of the future.

This causes the body of the scientist Defoe to be split up and end up in four different time periods.

In my opinion, this TV Show is good and entertaining. As usual NETFLIX added the gay part with 2 characters. I have nothing against the inclusion, but it seems to me that lately everything is very forced and many times these scenes contribute absolutely nothing to the plot.

(Despite this, I feel that the romance of these 2 characters is cute 😆)

I read articles where they compare this series with DARK, I'm a big fan of Dark, it's my favorite tv show 😎 and truth be told, I consider it MUCH superior to Bodies.

• Young Elias Mannix's yellow jacket is similar to Jonas's from Dark.
