Let's go to the story of the Çamdağ Tunnel, which is located in the Beldibi district of Antalya province and is now closed to traffic. Then let me try to show you all the breathtaking beauties around it.

Çamdağ Tunnel, which is approximately 30 km away from Antalya center, is located just above the Beldibi coast. It is located on the road route described as the old Kemer road of the people of Antalya. Since it is closed to traffic, this road is called the old Kemer road. The construction date of the tunnel is 1974, as written on the stones of the tunnel at the entrance. Even though it seems abandoned nowadays, the beauty around it and the view of the sea from the top after exiting the tunnel makes this place attractive.

From the side at the first entrance of the tunnel, you go down to the calmest and most peaceful beach of the Beldibi coast, which perhaps no one notices. You can go down the ramp through huge stones and bushes with your own efforts. At the other exit end of the tunnel, you can go to the dump bay (hidden bay), which I later learned about and which I guess not many people know about.

You can visit Çamdağ Tunnel and its surroundings for free. This place is also used as a Camping area for many nature lovers. I can say that the tunnel has a nostalgic appearance when viewed from a distance. It looks like a tunnel made of carefully arranged stones used in old construction works. It reminds him of being stuck under the huge mountain on his back.

When you enter the tunnel, water droplets come into contact with your body. We can understand that it is one of the places frequented by young people, especially from the writings they write on the walls and the pictures they make. Even though it seems neglected, I am sure it will be remembered as a historical tunnel.

Now let's look at the beauties around it. When we exit the tunnel and move along the road, we can see the magnificent view of the deep blue sea from the top. When we look from the top, we can see the huge blue sea, boats passing by, and a beautiful long beach made of pebbles. Again, we come across different shapes of pine trees at the edges, witnessing the sea view all day long. We pass through the short iron strip on the side of the road, take a break and rest in some red soil areas.

As we walk along the road, the pruned and high view of the mountain on our left and the view of the sea and pine trees on our right dazzle our eyes. Although it was a little difficult to go down the ramp from the right side of the road, we managed to get down. When we looked around, the happiness of seeing the mountain view and the sea view together was reflected in our hearts.

While the sun surrendered to the clouds and was looking for a way to escape, we were following the mild weather and the light breeze, walking along the beach, chatting and instilling the inspiration of happiness within us.

Antalya ilinin, Beldibi ilçesinde bulunan ve artık trafiğe kapalı olan Çamdağ Tünelinin hikayesine gidelim. Sonra da etrafında nefes kesen tüm güzellikleri sizlere göstermeye çalışayım.

Antalya merkezden yaklaşık 30 km uzaklıkta olan Çamdağ Tüneli, Beldibi sahilinin hemen yukarısında konumlandırılmıştır. Antalyalıların eski Kemer yolu diye tarif edilen yol güzergahında yer alır. Trafiğe kapatıldığı için bu yolun adı eski Kemer yolu olarak anılıyor. Tünelin yapılış tarihi, girişte tünelin taşlarında yazıldığı gibi 1974 yılında yapılmış. Her ne kadar şu sıralar terk edilmiş gibi görünse de etrafındaki güzelliklerle ve tünelden çıkıp, tepeden denizin manzarasını görmesi burayı cazip hale getiriyor.

Tünelin ilk giriş kısmındaki yan taraftan, Beldibi sahil kenarının belki de kimsenin fark edemediği en sakin ve en huzurlu plajına iniliyor. Rampa aşağıya giden yoldan kendi çabalarınız sonucu koca taşların ve çalıların arasından inebilirsiniz. Tünelin diğer çıkış ucunda ise, benimde sonradan öğrendiğim ve çok fazla kişinin bilmediğini tahmin ettiğim çöplük koyuna ( gizli koy) geçiliyor.

Çamdağ Tünelini ve etrafını ücretsiz bir şekilde gezebilirsiniz. Burası ayrıca bir çok doğaseverler için Kamp alanı olarak da kullanılıyor. Tünele uzaktan bakıldığında nostaljik bir görünüme sahip olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Eski yapım eserlerinde kullanılan taşların itinayla dizilmiş haliyle yapılmış bir tünel görünümdedir. Sanki sırtındaki koca dağın altına mahsur kalmış halini anımsatıyor.

Tünelin içine girdiğinizde su damlacıkları, vücudunuza temas ediyor. Özellikle gençlerin uğrak yerlerden biri olduğunu duvarlara yazdıkları yazılardan ve yaptıkları resimlerden anlayabiliyoruz. Her ne kadar bakımsız gibi görünse de tarihi bir tünel olarak akıllarda kalacağına eminim.

Şimdi de etrafındaki güzelliklere bakalım. Tünelden çıkıp, yol boyunca ilerlediğimizde tepeden masmavi denizin, muhteşem manzarasını görebiliyoruz. Tepeden baktığımızda koskoca mavi deniz, geçen tekneler, çakıl taşlarından oluşan güzel uzun bir sahili görebiliyoruz. Yine kenarlarda, gün boyu deniz manzarasına şahit olan, çam ağaçlarının değişik şekillerine rastlıyoruz. Yolun kenarındaki kısa demir şeritten geçip, bazı kırmızı topraklı alanlarda mola verip, dinleniyoruz.

Yol boyunca yürürken, sol tarafımızdaki dağın budanmış ve yükseklik haliyle, sağ tarafımızdaki denizin ve çam ağaçlarının görüntüsü, gözlerimizi kamaştırıyor. Yolun sağından rampa aşağıya inmek biraz güç olsa da biz inmeyi başardık. Etrafımıza baktığımızda, dağ manzarasını ve deniz manzarasını bir arada görmenin mutluluğu kalbimize de yansıyordu.

Güneş bulutlara teslim olmuş, kaçmanın yolunu ararken, biz ılıman havanın ve hafif esen rüzgarın peşinden ilerleyip, sahil boyunca yürüyor, sohbet ediyor ve içimize mutluluk ilhamını aşılıyorduk.
