Back to the future
It's been sooo long since I visited this part of the world. Six years without feeling this sand on my feet, while admiring the beautiful colours of the golden hour.
Yes, they are absent here; after all, this is a #monomad challenge. But I'm pretty sure you can picture them; and this one was one of the really lively ones: the scattered clouds make every sunset even better!
We can admire sunsets everywhere, for sure; palm trees as well, now widespread even in locations where they're not part of the natural flora. But here, they're in their "natural habitat", and together with the beach and sunsets create those postcard memories, the ones I'm going back to now, but with my eyes (mind?) on the future!
Because if everything goes according to plan... I will be seeing these landscapes live in a near future! Stunning beaches, warm weather, and curious creatures!
And if you haven't guessed yet, will these next landscapes help?
Big limestone rocks emerging from the sea... does it ring a bell?
How about now, with these typical boats?
If it's not crystal clear yet, don't worry: you'll find out in a near future, because I'll sure be posting about it! And honestly, I can't wait. There's so much to explore, above water surface and below! These waters are filled with multicoloured marine life, and although I'm not going in a season where the magnificent whale sharks are there, I can be sure that I'll see a ton of beautiful species, and the likelyhood that I'll be spending most of my beach time here with my scuba mask on is huge.
Until there, I'll just have to patiently count the days, and do some travel-homework, the one I normally skip but in reality shouldn't, in order to better enjoy the coming vacations. Can't wait! :)

Thank you @brumest and @qurator!
Cool pics 👍 my first thought was Thailand... then I thought maybe Vietnam or Malaysia 🤔
You are right, there are pictures of Thailand and Malaysia there. Asia it is! But to a country I haven't been yet. ;)
