The mountains kept on calling me.

After my three day hospital sojourn, it was so great to be back at home.
107.jpg

At my first opportunity, I popped out for 30 minutes to go and greet the mountains.

Just as well that I did, as it was such a beautiful show, that it replenished my strength and removed some of the pains. My wife was with me and she was watching me like a hawk. No climbing, long walks, or standing for long periods was allowed, and yet I managed to capture a beautiful photographic story. I am sure that you will agree with me.

So, come and see what I have to share with you.

By now you can see why I was so eager to get out here. Hospitals have the habit of telling my conscience how frail we are as human beings and we pray for all the sick people that we saw in there. I am not joking as it is really morbid in there.

All of this out here is my strength generator, simply because all of us are a part of nature. No not the diesel generators that many use during the power cut times every day, but as the generators help during the power cuts, just so does nature's generator help me during my weak periods.

Oh, I so wanted to stay because I knew that the cloud formations would continue to change, but it was a no go, and we left to go back home.
062.JPG

Now my issue currently with being at home is a bit distressing, as I have to lay on the bed and my missus is forever pampering and fiddling all around me. I am sure that she is Emily Hopkins and a few other nun nurses rolled all into one. Drink this and drink that I am told and it's this pill and that pill. I am sure that my skin is so bitter from all of the pills that a hungry spider will even spit on me :)

I have some more photos that I took during our last day of the hospital period and lady luck was with while I sat out in the garden of the place where we stayed. I got two new birds on camera, and I also got a pair of geese visiting the swimming pool.
So, keep an eye out for my next two posts if you want to see something nice.

I hope that you have enjoyed the photo story.

Slowly on the mend, nature is artful in changing our frame of mind.

A quiet place with mountains in the distance or close would suit me fine, sometimes things don't go the way you hoped they would.

Oh yes, mountains are the way to go. Lately everything seems to go haywire.
My old PC is now acting up and it's going to cost a bomb to repair it.

Everything costs a bomb of late, ZAR has met it's fate, spare parts not arriving, new stock exceptionally expensive too. Sometimes better to buy a new cheaper rig than repair... Hope you have a friendly tech guy to assist.

And to beat it all, we now have another interest rate hike. The 10th one in a row. You are right as I am shopping around for a new rig. Must have an SSD card, as the old hard drives are on the way out.
By grace I do have a great tech guy.

Eventually you cannot squeeze water from the stone!

Most are below earning sufficient to pay for food let alone accommodation, people who bought homes or vehicles are going to battle. Say goodbye to the middle class structure.

Having a good tech guy to give guidance always makes decision easier.

The stone is now starting to calcify and it will fall apart soon.

Yep! The poor faces severe struggles, especially those with many kids to feed. Now the middle class are indeed dissolving just the same as that stone.

The tech kids nowadays are way ahead of us old fogies and it's good to have one of them around.

Oh man, I feel for you, but it is, what it is and you just have to endure.
We also sleep at odd hours due to the power cuts.

I wish you continued and rapid healing. It is my belief, as it it yours it seems, that some more time in scenery like that which you shared above will help heal you faster. As far as the missus, just do what she says, it will go better for you.

Thank you and I have figured out the healing benefits of nature a long time ago. Thats why I go out there as son as I can. Yep! You are right about the missus !LOL

When a person goes to the hospital for any reason, the only thing that comes to his mind is to go back to his home as soon as possible, because there one gets a lot of peace.

Yes, that is true, but I only feel free when I am out in nature.
