The beautiful Malachite Sunbird.

(Edited)

A wild and windy day but still we go out as no one else is around.

The Malachite's are young as it will be their breeding season soon and two of them posed for me today.

While Marian ordered coffee at the deserted open air restaurant, I did my usual walk on the farm to see what I could get.
Fortunately, I also got some raptor birds, but that is for another post and I will now show you this lovely bird.
Cold and windy and ideal conditions to have the farm all to ourselves. It was during the loadshedding time, and the next power cut will start at 4pm which is a few minutes away.
Come and see.

This was on our approach to the farm.

And finally, we were on our way back home.

I had to rush with this post, as we will be switch off until about 6:30pm tonight and we have a lot of other things to do when the power comes back on again. So I plead with you not to blame me for placing this post now, as our conditions warrant quick actions.
I hope that you have enjoyed the pictures in here today.

And That's All Friends.
