The beauty is all over if one cares to have a look.

A Swallowtail butterfly that I caught in flight.

The boss is driving our car now, as the pills that I take makes my head swim. But nothing prevents me from sitting with a mug of coffee in nature in a lovely spot to take shots of the things that my eyes can see. We are all very busy as the severe Covid lockdown has left some serious issues in its wake. Mostly insecurity and suspiciousness that affects most of the people. False alarms and false propaganda only make matters worse, and the crime statistics have rocketed as the millions of unemployed need to eat.
Gangs run the show and hundreds of kids join the gangs. The murder rate has increased drastically, and it is not if, but when it will be our turn.
But that doesn't matter and come join us for some coffee here.

We had to wait for the pedestrians and their babies to cross the road :)

There was a big duckling in the clouds, swimming over above the mountains.

And here was a damselfly taking a rest on a leaf in a pond.

Now this was interesting as there were two dragonflies on this plant stem. A red one at the bottom.

And a blue one at the top of the stem.

And finally, you can see a distant view of the duckling shaped cloud above the mountains.

Not too many photos, as I was not able to stroll around as usual, but at least I got something and my camera is happy. Nature is the place to be if one has issues in life and deep breaths of the mountain air clears the lungs and the worries. Many times have I sat like this and a logical solution to a problem appeared out of nowhere. The key is not to go and sit with hundreds of thoughts flitting through the head, but rather to shut off all thoughts and to allow nature to pop up with solutions.
Just my way of doing things and maybe some of you will try the same. To fight and to seek revenge is never an answer, as what you do to others, you are indeed doing to yourself. Humbleness and kindness are the answer, as it has never failed if one is prepared to consider both sides of a story.
Such is life.

Those look like giant whales to me! and the insecurity over here is not even in the charts. It tops it, breaking into the red zone! Your pictures really give me a sense of calm. I have Carribean Blue by Enya playing in the background too and that just what I needed today.

I woke up feeling a bit lost. Had no idea what to do and there was a lot to do. So I just shut myself out (or in) not letting anything get to me. Now that I am here, it seems like a very bad idea. I just wish there was a way I could effectively put a leash on my devious emotions!

No, they are not the same, as they are from the same family order, but they are different insect species.

So many things I want to say. In no particular order (but in dot points to stop me from turning this into a mini post):

  • Bummer that you can't drive now. Hoping that's temporary?

  • Glad you have a loving human who can drive you around :)

  • That totally sucks that things are so strained and scary and voilent there. I wish there was something I could do (other than remember to send you !ALIVE tokens and !PIZZA that still doesn't need refridgeration)

  • The family that were crossing the road were gorgeous.

  • I'm glad you can sit with a cuppa and stare at the beautiful mountains and appreciate all the beautiful parts of nature there.

  • I loved the dragonflies. We have them here too! I !LUV them :)

Thank you for another of your special and uplifting replies.
Firstly, I have picked up a pinched nerve that creates severe spasms in my right leg. Doctor reckons that it will take about 3 weeks to cure.
Yep, I am thankful and my wife likes to be the main driver nowadays :)
I am typing this reply right now in a power cut, as we now have an inverter that can last for 50% of the power cut duration.
We are so thankful that the Guinea Fowl families are protected on the wine farms.
Thank you and I have many idealistic moments to sit and ponder life.
When I bought my first small camera in 2002, I spent a lot of time solely on dragonflies and it has paid off in the long run, as it made it easer to get the bigger things on camera.
Thank you again, as it is just my rambling thoughts in print.
