Some peaceful views.

Draw unto the mountains, and they shall draw unto you.

But first a weird shot, as I have never seen the sun like this before.

So, as I pulled the car out, I saw it and I had to use the overhead wooden beam to block the direct glare of the sun. The thing that surprised me was that there were no clouds, and the sun seemed to be in the process of building a double halo. I can only ascribe this to cold icicles in the air. And then it simply disappeared. Gone, just like that, and I wonder to this day what happened. A weird and brief double halo.
Maybe it was one of nature's wonders meant strictly for my eyes, or perhaps a promise that it would be a good day.

We are fortunate to have a constant change in the skies here, as not one day seems to be the same.

So, the moment that I need rest for my mind, I simply go out to feed it with views like these.

So, let's face it. Life is a struggle for so many of us, and its onslaughts continue to load us with trauma and stresses. The thing is that we cannot control the unexpected occurrences of our morrows, and at times its results can be debilitating. So, in order to combat this, my habit is to take myself into nature.

Then, a bit later in the day, things looked like this.

Talking about the unexpected, at 3am in the morning recently, criminals collapsed one of the big electricity towers in order to steal the cables. The result was that 3 towns had no electric power, and our town was one of them. Emergency teams were rushed out to the site, and power was only restored after about 21 hours later. It is winter here, and you can imagine how mothers with small babies had to struggle in the cold. Not only the mothers, as no one had expected this calamity, and the hospitals had to rush in order to get their generators up and running. Imagine laying in theatre during an operation, and suddenly the power goes out. There are of course many other scenes of struggle during the power outages, and I have only mentioned a few examples.
If I could, then I would lead everyone into nature to receive some free healing :)
But such is life.

I hope you enjoyed the mountain scenes.
