Some normal sights here.

Or are they abnormal sights? Whatever it is to be I hope that you enjoy it.

This is what I like when we go out there, as one can never know what to expect.

But thankfully I am hardly ever disappointed, as most times I can get something new and amazing on the camera. One just has to have a lot of patience and to stay alert all of the time. So what does a squirrel, a goose and a plane have in common?
Nothing, but they are all amazing sights in different contexts.
Come and see.

Hey Harry, Sly the squirrel said, I think we need to get out of here as the big ape with the camera is here again.

Sly the squirrel popped up into a tree.

And Harry flew to the other side of the pond.

I heard a sound up in the air and started to search.
232.JPG

Ah! I found the sound and this guy came in to make a quick U-turn in the air.

Just a quick turn-around and then he was gone.
247.JPG

The Buzzard was watching the plane and I hoped that it would also attempt a U-turn, but not to be.

So how many times have you seen a combination of sights like this in your life? I would like to say that they are rare sights, but not so, as to us they are normal. This area has abundant wildlife and the local airfield, that I have posted a few times before is not far away. Anything is possible on a day out and as I said before, one only has to have a keen eye to spot the abnormalities.

In my mind it is dreary to post the same thing over and over again, as there are so many other things that one can post to deliver a variety of exciting sights. Quality is a misnomer, as it is so important for progress.
We are all different people, and my aim is to please first myself with a post, as then others with similar likes will also be pleased at what they see. Yet others may not like it, but we have to respect our differences.
Just a few of my own thoughts here.

I hope that you have enjoyed the pictures.

Beautiful photos, you were really on alert with your phone, look how you captured the plane so well, and the squirrel on the tree looks like it wanted to jump off the tree.

Yup. This is a rare sight. Is it possible that they actually communicated to eachother in wildlife language that the meddlesome human was on the prowl? Lol.
Sign of good things to come for you dearest @papilloncharity 🥰
Glad to see you immersing yourself in all these beauties.

Pilots in training come over our house a couple of times a week, think it all depends on the wind. I do miss the old airport not being close we used to watch the large planes coming and going for many years.

Everything on the move has a story to tell goose and squirrel too....

Yeah, it's so nice to live near an airfield, and fortunately we have many light aircaft over here. Such a change from up north, as we only had the big planes coming over.
I would so love the hear what the squirrel said to the goose.

When air show happens at Virginia airport the planes come down to practice over the valley here, also an area used to train new pilots.

Squirrel and goose would most definitely have mumbled something under the breath....

Well in that case, I am sure that you can get some good photos ?
Our airfield advertise all of their happenings.

Mumbled so softly that it was out of my earshot :)

Not often bothered photographing man made craft. Last airshow we attended was at the old airport, quite some time ago....
