Some magical mountain peak shots.

I was at the right place at the right time when I saw the advancing trio of birds coming over the mountain peaks.

They looked like Ibises, but I cannot be sure, as they were high up.

The first two photos look very nice, and the mountain peak shots also look very nice, but the last three photos had me confounded. I will not tell you here what their content is, as you will have to look at the photos for yourself. It was indeed a really unexpected occasion. We are blessed with all the sights that we see over here, and, as lovers of nature, every time that we go out something for the camera pops up. I am sure you have seen the variety in my posts over time.
So, let's have a look.

And now for some magical mountain peak shots.

Something weird happened in the 3 pictures below.
This photo just looks like we normally see on the mountain range when the clouds are about.

But now look closely at the little black figure at the extreme top, in the center of the photo below. No, it's not a helicopter, it was in fact a weird plane.

So, when we got back home, I heard a weird noise outside, and I rushed out to see what it was. Here below was that same plane that you saw in the photo above. A cylindrical form with propellors mounted at the front and the rear, and I have no idea what kind of plane it was.

I don't know if there are any pilots, or those with good knowledge about planes, on hive. Maybe they can identify this plane for me, as it's a first for me to see it. It was too late to drive out to the local airfield, that you have seen in previous posts, else we could have gone there to see the plane and to find out what it is.
Some of you saw the previous airfield posts and told me that you will go and visit the airfield. There is always something going on there and the food is great. A pity that our petrol prices are so high, else we would visit there more often.
Such is life.

I hope you have enjoyed the pictures and the story.

I've never seen a plane like that before either. Maybe it'll be back, and you can get to the airfield.

Some beautiful views, as always :)
