Random shots in here, some dangerous and others beautiful.

This is extremely dangerous, as cattle must never eat unsupervised on the median of a 4 lane highway.

Cars and big trucks travel at speed on this road, and if one of the cattle suddenly decides to cross the road, it can cause a major accident. So, as I said, some varied sights can be seen in here, as we were on our way to a motor panel beater in a small industrial area, in order for him to repair a dent in one of our car doors. After dropping the car off, we got a lift back home, so now for the next two days we will be without transport. So, we knew that, and went out earlier in the morning to the closest nature spot, and I got the bird photos there.

Don't believe me? At the peak traffic hour a bit later, this highway is filled with cars traveling in both directions. So, it is totally irresponsible to allow one's cattle to step onto the roads.

Now for something else that is much better on the eye and the ear.

First for the eye, sat two Red-Winged Starlings.

And this below is why they are called red-winged.

Then at the same place, a lovely song for the ears. The Southern double-collared sunbird sings so passionately that you can even see his straw tongue.

As is their nature, he completed the song and then took off in a flash.

And then back home our famous little beggar arrived as soon as I drew the curtain open in the study. They keep their eyes on the window, and as soon as they see movement, then they know that they will get food soon.

In the meantime, nothing wrong during the wait to scout for any competition arriving :)

Finally, I went outside, and if you look closely at the rocks, you will see the squirrel happily eating.

I lined the front garden borders with river rocks, and I see in the photos that the white rock is not very nice. So, I will replace it with another one. All of the rocks also need a brush and a wash, as we laid them down in the lines directly from the river, and I still also have to straighten the lines. But this will come in time. In the meantime, it looks much better, and we had a laugh when the squirrels, at first sight of the rocks, avoided them. After a few days they accepted the rocks and now they sit on them every day.
