Random sunset shots and some rainbow photos at the end.
I have heaps of sunset photos and will now share some with you.
A love of nature and the sky is essential in Africa.
And maybe the world over, as nature and the cosmos are a free gift to all of us. To be treasured, and sadly the world is trying its best to eradicate nature. Nothing is sacred to the touch of mankind's hands, and if we cannot touch it, then we pollute it. I don't want to go down that line again, as I have mentioned the destruction many times before. So to put you in a lighter mood, let's have a look at the beautiful side of things.
It is normally clouds like this that trigger fantastic sunset scenes.
As I said, the photos are random and taken by me at different places in our area. The first 2 photos were taken at home, then 4 photos at a park and a final sunset photo back at home.

And now for the rainbow photos.
An early part of the sunset and a colorful picture.
I took this one from our house's roof.
This last picture is not mine, as one of the Papillon Board members sent it to show us the rainbow at Struisbaai. I have his permission to share it here, and I thought that it was too good not to share.
We will be traveling to Struisbaai when the winter is over, and then I will get some great photos to show you some real beauty. At our last visit about 3-4 years ago I also posted about the Struisbaai's magical views and sadly I was told that there are many new residential developments there now. Sadly, because the town has a lovely old-world charm, and a small population, that will now start to increase drastically. I don't like crowds, will have to go out very early to escape the crowds. But we are used to it, as we like to be alone in nature, and the quiet strokes our souls with peace and love.
Maybe I am a bit dippy, but there also need to be dippy people in life :)
Such is life.
