One can never know...

...what magic the new day will conjure up for the eyes.

It seemed at this early stage that we would have a sun shiny day.

But it was not to be, as the weather had other ideas. The past couple of days, and nights were occupied by light rain, and it was a world of wetness. An icy wind coming off the snow covered mountains far away inland, lent a lovely red pink color to our ears as we walked around outside. Only until we got into our car, as thankfully the car has a great heater, and it quickly defrosts a person. With the rain gone, a frisky and crisp tang hung in the countryside air. So yeah, we were happy to see the sun again.

We hope that everyone will have a good Friday and a happy weekend.

I took the photos below earlier in the day at dawn.

The Periwinkle flowers were slowly starting to dry themselves.

And then the big clouds started coming in again.

Finally, just like that the day was over.

Time seems to fly away nowadays, as long ago, an hour felt like a lifetime, especially when one was waiting for someone or something. Now an hour slips by in the blink of an eye. Either the world is spinning faster, or I am getting older :) I still plan a one-hour outing in the old time, as the thought is to go and grab a cup of coffee, and to take some photos in nature, but then I find that we stayed out hopelessly too long, as one hour has become 3 hours. Does this also happen to you?
We are on a tight schedule, as my wife is a lecturer at a seminary, and she is currently marking the student's exams. They get a limited time to mark, before the next batch of exams arrive, and she puts in long hours to stay ahead. So, as I said, time is in a hurry and it's not our friend anymore, as it has no patience =D.
Such is life.

I hope that you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

I know that feeling, time seems to fly by way too fast anymore. It used to be crawl before when I was young, but now I wish I could slow it down!

Beautiful images you managed to capture there, I hope you enjoyed the coffee!

I have heard so many saying that they wish that they can slow time down, but it is not to be, and we just have to live with it.

Thank you, and I always enjoy the farm coffee, as it has a special taste.

Time appears on speed dial of late, agree much to do with little time to waste. Good luck to Marian keeping up with those marking of papers.

Slowly turning in a mad house here as we simply cannot get into bed before 11pm, and then it's up at 6am again in the mornings. Still not enough time to get everything done. I am working on a new Papillon community project and things are going much slower than usual. No time.

Marian said that I must thank you.
