My search for the sun and nature's beauty.

And I found it with some spectacular photos, but that's not all, as nature also had other gifts for me.
036.jpg

The first part of this post consists of landscapes and in the second part I will show you some beauties that live in nature.

We had a light and dark day yesterday, but thankfully, even though it was hazy today, the sun shone for most of the day. A nice day to get out early morning and then in the afternoon during a power cut. Our next power cut will be at 10pm tonight, and then the power cuts will continue tomorrow. Yes, it's tough going, but I am not complaining.
So, come and see what I have got for you today.

First up are the landscapes and I will show you 6 pictures that includes the first photo. Below is the parking space as we had coffee first.

008.JPG

I have seen this weather before, and I knew that it would be a hazy day.
060.JPG

069.JPG

Finally, the sky started to clear a little bit.
061.JPG

Right, let's have a look now at some of nature's residents.

This old and weather beaten lady is called a Citrus Swallowtail (Papilio demodocus demodocus). Sadly she will not last long as our winter is around the corner.
083.JPG

Up next is one of my favorite birds and it is a Southern Double-collared Sunbird. A great little singer.
039.JPG

Here we have a Crimson Speckled Footman butterfly (Utetheisa pulchella). Not often that I can get them with open wings and I was lucky today.
086.JPG

This is what it looks like with closed wings.
094.JPG

I think that the row of Hadeda Ibis birds were on their way to church :)
056.JPG

And finally the haze returned so we moved to this other place below the mountain that I will show in my next post.

I love the way that the weather changes the views in nature and it is a sheer pleasure to get the sights on camera. I try my best to show you what my eyes see, and the pictures come close, but the human eye sees so much better. Maybe my camera needs a cataract operation, as it has already taken hundreds of photos, but thankfully it still lasts. I can imagine a doctor's face when I pitch up and ask him to check if my camera has any cataracts :)

But in going from the ox to the donkey, Canon makes good cameras and I am happy with my Powershot. The sole reason why I bought it was to get a full, big and clear photo of the moon. It has all of the settings that my previous camera had before it resigned from life and this one works just as hard. Thankfully I haven't yet dropped it so many times than I did with my old camera, as at last I have learned the lessons about falling around :)

So, I hope that you have enjoyed the pictures and the story.

And That's All Friends.

These are beautiful pictures of nature
I don't know if I'm the only one who tries to form some shapes with the cloud
Do you do that too?

Have never had the pleasure of seeing the Crimson Speckled Footman, lovely capture.

Weather changing here once again from hot back to cooler with a little rain which is needed. No matter the weather something is always happening in nature.

Have an amazing day, stay well and keep up the great photography!

Oh yes, they are real little cuties.

Glad for you that things are cooling down a bit and we also stay in the low 20s here.

Met with some baboons again on our trip to the Elgin apple valley and it was a great trip.
On the 16th of June, I will be on hive or 6 years, so if it's in my power, I will simply continue.

Thank you for the compliment and your photography is just as good.

Baboons up in the mountain area are so furry in cooler conditions, actually cute sometimes!

Taking breaks outdoors imperative or health breaks down pretty quickly with stress faced daily, six years in June and seven for me in August, time flies when you enjoy good company.

Have a great day and look forward to seeing you.

Oh yes, and people don't understand that the baboons and the leopards keep the monkeys away.

Wow! 7 years sounds great, and I am glad that you enjoy the company here on hive.

Monday is done and hope that you guys will have a nice and cool Thursday !LOLZ

Leopard roaming through our region would be entertaining to say the least.

Monday no power all afternoon into the evening, Tuesday no power just got back, well?

I can only imagine the shock and the fear if that were to happen.
Yep, the new electricity minister id doing well isn't he?
The bluster that they call spin is all focused on getting votes, so one cannot believe anything that they say.

Couple of beasties between the humans would keep all on their toes !LOLZ

Assisting these politicians to look viable to the outside world by big corporate has back-fired, laugh a minute not sourcing people on merit, or some actually studying to achieve the honest route.

Thirty years added burden of extreme majority being afraid of minority another bloody hoax!

Hahaha, it might even wake somebody up !LOLZ

Lately everything is back firing and of course when doomsday arrives nobody would be held accountable.

We live in the land of hoaxes and false spin doctors that are employed to make the hoaxes appear authentic, but sadly for them, the truth always emerges.

International phenomena of certain rich ruling politicians who think it is there right to take from people, woe be them the day all will stand up against this BS. Gnashing of teeth is starting to be heard everywhere.....

The nature's beauty is always in front of us. We do not have to search for it. Beauty and love is everywhere. Nowadays I see it in the rocky semi-desert, near San Isidro on Tenerife.

Have a nice day and have a nice weekend.
All the best. Greetings and much love from Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.

Yes, the beauty of nature is right in front of us, but so sad that many ignore it. That's why hive is the best place to be, as many here love nature.

We have both semi-desert and full desert here and it is a very different world with its own beauty.
