I sit here and wonder of days gone by, lyrics from a song titled Useless Illusions by The Flames.

One can only wonder about all of the tricks in this life and I have seen so many, both good and bad.

And at times some of the problems are everlasting and try as one might, one simply cannot beat them. I think here of the millions of children that go to bed hungry with no food at night. But then there are the moments of true light such as the thankful tears of a child with a full stomach.
So yes, these are the kind of things that chase me into the loving arms of Mother nature.

Yes, life is in turmoil and each day comes with new challenges, but if one face them with an inner peace then all things become manageable. The flustering of anxiety will disappear and be replaced by logical and calm reasoning. Yes, the insides cry, but for appearances sake one displays a comforting demeanor. Not easy I know but then we are also rewarded by the good things in life such as love and laughter. To balance the two in acceptance, both the good and the bad, is an issue that so many of us struggle with, but it can be done.
Think about it and find your own place of peace.

This landscape looks so soothing - enough to lost in nature and forget about anxiety, problems and everything.

I also have my own kind of place in nature where i feel Good and always visit when i feel low.

Mother nature is my soul's doctor and you can see her beauty in the photos.
The plants next to the path will bloom in a few weeks time and I will go back there to get the show on camera.

Yes I saw that and my friends in Greece are also suffering. Apparently some islands there were burnt out.

Our area is under control now as far as the fires are concerned, but we have severe problems with the weather and now a warning is out that 80kph winds will arrive tonight.

I agree with you when we face challenges we will do so much better If we approach them when th inner peace and hence to need to make time for ourselves to go to places that refresh us and build our inner tranquility

Thank you JJ and I will make sure to make a turn there of blooms during spring.

Oh yes, a calm soul can handle the set backs so much better as rash and hurried decisions can become costly at times. I think that the monks have the right idea to mostly isolate themselves in silence, but we simply do not have the time in our busy lives to do the same.
So we grab every opportunity that we can get to go out there and to recharge our souls.

Peace is almost completely independent from place. You can find it almost anywhere.

Oh yes, inner peace does not need a place, but it can certainly be enhanced in the peaceful surroundings of nature.
