Lovely art sculptures on display.

We have a host of excellent artists here and I will share some of their works.

Still, some rain about for the whole day, but it can't keep us inside.

Not heavy rain, as mostly soft fairy rain drops, but I had difficulty keeping the camera lenses dry. In any case, we went out to the Lourensford wine estate as we were hoping to see the finish of the Cape Epic Mountain Bike Race. Sadly, it was a private affair and instead we went on to take a walk on the estate in order to see the effect that the rain had on the plants and the flowers. Everything was lovely and fresh, and I took some shots outside the art gallery on the estate.
Have a look what I have below.

We loved that friendly dragon.

Friendly? Oh yes, just look at that smile.

Do you know what this is below?

No? It was a praying lady.

Excellent work, and the colors change when one views it from different angles.

And what is this below?

A lovely African Rhinoceros.

Due to the wet conditions, we could not sit for coffee, and so I only grabbed some pictures before we left. I would love to show you the sculptures in bright sunlight, as they are simply amazing. There is a lane that leads to the art gallery, and it is filled with sculptures on both sides. I have posted some of the sculptures before and the ones in here are new. At least I think so, as my memory banks have been repossessed.

You are welcome to put the Lourensford wine estate on your bucket list when you visit the Western Cape province of South Africa. And for more of the activities that are offered to the public on the estate, you can visit this safe source link below to see all that they offer to visitors. Be prepared to be amazed.

Brutal. The way you dimension and create perspectives at different angles is impressive.

I liked the one of the lady praying. Imposing.
