Looking for a bit of peace.

But as usual not to be. I don't want to give too much away, but our peace was very soon disturbed. This photo below is our favorite bench to sit and watch the mountains.

The first four photos will show you our happy peaceful place.

Full of color and birdsong, with the sound of a stream in the river close by. I mean what more can one want than to sit and enjoy some peace?
The wind also stopped playing games with clouds and everything was mild and beautiful. Until .....

I heard a familiar sound and turned with my camera to see trouble on its way. This little guy came barreling towards us.

The doggy's owner called, and I took him back to his mommy. I think he also liked to sit with us to breathe in the peace.

So, we returned to our peaceful thoughts, but it was not to be, as then something else took place.

At first, we saw this one coming out of the river.

And then the cavalry, or doggie brigade arrived.

Game on and no rest for the .... :)

And so we said selah, time for us to return homeward bound.

At times it is very quiet out here, but many people have cottoned onto the idea to come for an outing during the power cuts. I think that their hounds have also gotten used to it and as soon as the power goes off, the dogs will start to bark their owners out of the house :)
Canines are very clever, and they always get what they want out of their owners, at least our little guy did. We are glad to see that they have many happy times here, and they get some great exercise. So do the owners, as many times we see them running after, trying to catch their dogs.
Some dogs hide and we see owners walking around whistling and calling, until they are tired. We often get doggies coming up to us, and then they refuse to go back to their owners.
Such is life.

I hope you have enjoyed the pictures and story.

And That's All Friends.

If I had such a beautiful place to sit, under such a beautiful tree, I think I'd stay there forever. Just allowing the wind to whip my hair around while I put a million thoughts on paper. You're really blessed.
And those canines are beyond adorable with their antics.🌺

If only we could stay there forever, but as you know, duty calls. I have very few hairs left that can be whipped around and nowadays I comb the 2 hairs on my head with a middle path !LOL
Blessed be the peacemakers and the doggies are great fun to watch.

Dogs are sooo awesome. I don't have one to care for, but maybe one day. Thanks for the lovely read and sharing the pics :)

Thank you and now it's the first time in my life that I don't have a dog, as our little guy died in November last year after spending 17 years with us. It still hurts just to mention it.
Glad that you liked the read and my pleasure to share my passions.

17 years - wow! I'm really sorry for your loss.. your little guy must have lived such an amazing life of love with you, though. I can see how much you deeply care. #hugs

Thank you and yeah, it's going to take us a long time to get over the hurt. But he will always remain in our hearts. Thank you also for the compliment and I am sure that you also have a lot of care.

The dog really enjoyed the moment.I can totally picture myself sitting there, surrounded by vibrant colors, listening to the birds singing and the soothing sound of a nearby stream.

It's the perfect setting to find some peace and relaxation. The greenery everywhere must be so refreshing and revitalizing. I can imagine bringing my dog along and watching him enjoy the moment too.

Yep! It sounds like you have a good imagination, and you can see in your nature loving mind why we love to sit on that bench.

Peace and relaxation are urgently needed, as our work has many pitfalls and one has to take regular time out activities for sanity's sake. Glad that you enjoyed the post.
