Do not be deceived...

...as the real weatherman appeared as a halo around the sun.

That is the sure sign that rain was on its way.

Even in this day and age, we still get faulty weather forecasts. The main culprits are the quick shifts of the strong winds, as it can change direction in an instant. So, now you forecast a sunny day, and suddenly on the same day the rain clouds come rolling in. I call it fun and games, as we so often get it wrong. Just imagine that you take the family on a picnic, and you lay everything out, tables chairs blankets and whatnot, and as you start to eat lunch it suddenly starts to rain. Such is the weather here as you will see below.

That wind below was a sure sign that something was up weatherwise.

And now join us for the drive. First up, is a Harrier Hawk in flight.

Traffic is often strange here. Lol.

Lovely country shot.

What did I tell you about the quick weather changes?
We were caught out on the road back, as the rain appeared out of nowhere.

A lonely seagull made its way over.

Finally, one cannot see the mountains as the rain clouds buried them.

Thankfully, we arrived safely back home and a sure thing that I don't like is bumper huggers. Guys with big trucks that leave only a hand's space between our car and their trucks behind us. Should I for instance have to slam on brakes suddenly, that truck behind us will have no chance at avoiding a collision with the back of our small car. Another issue is that drivers are in such a hurry that they don't respect the road laws by stopping at red traffic lights. We have to have eyes at the back of our heads to stay safe on the roads. So, yes, we have unnecessary headaches around here, as people's driving habits are crazy at times.

I hope you have enjoyed the pictures and the story.

It drives me crazy! Especially since I usually have my daughter in the car with me.

The pictures you show are always interesting, friend, this time I'm interested in the picture of the Harrier Hawk, which is really beautiful in the blue sky.

Yes you are absolutely right, a while ago me and my daughter were quite far away from home on a cycling trip because the weather prediction was good and we got surprised with heavy rain 😆
Beautiful pictures! (well while the weather was still good lol)

Spectacular composition of the solar halo and the silhouette of the tree, and well in these times the weather is very unpredictable, the same happens in the country where I live.

Thank you for the kind compliment, and I don't blame the weather forecasters, as I think that global warming is at play, and that it will get worse.
