An egret got itself a small snake.

We always look what nature's residents do in the case of floods.

At first, I thought that it was a big earth worm, but not to be.

So, what do I have in here? First the egret, then a lovely video, and finally some dogs in the water.

About two years ago, I lifted an old carpet that somebody dropped in the park, and under it was a whole nest of these small snakes crawling around all over the place. I think that I did post the snakes but cannot quite remember when. In any case, whenever we have floods, it's always great to get out when the rain stops.
Soon I will also show you in another post, a small falcon with its prey, but for now, let's watch the egret with the snake.

Like I said, you can see in the photo below that the park was flooded.

Some other egrets appeared for a share of the spoils, but the wise egret ran into some bushes with its lunch bonus.

You just have to watch this short video.

And now to show you how some dogs love the water.

Uh oh, he has spotted an old friend.

So, he ran to meet and greet.

This one is a real beauty, and you can see that its owner takes good care of it.

Yep, the light was not too good for photography so soon after the rain, but it never bothers me, as I just go ahead to get on camera what I can get. Sometimes it's good, but at times I simply have to delete the blurry ones. A big heartsore to delete a photo of something very special due to a blur, but that's life for you. You can't always get what you want, to quote a song by the Rolling Stones, and it's so true. But I find succor in the fact that I get many other good photos, and it's all gifts to me.
So, I hope that you are having a lazy and peaceful Sunday, and that you have had enough time to actually read this post.

I hope that you have enjoyed the story and the pictures.

Recently, while driving to work, I saw a stork on the side of the road. He walked and hunted snakes or lizards.

A pity that you couldn't get the stork with a catch, but maybe you will in the future.

Yes, it's a pity. Unfortunately, I was driving, so I couldn't do it.

Yep, I understood your situation, but maybe someday you will be walking, and then you could possibly get one.

I am very familiar with warts, they are very agile in preying on any type, their movements are so fast.

Bdw these dogs look so beautiful, I really like them in terms of soft fur.
