A taste of sunset for the senses.
Normally after the rain there will be some clouds hanging around and the ocean called me.
The first three photos are to show you the sunset color changes at the beach and the rest of the photos were taken of the sea.
So I answered the call and it was so worth it. Due to time constraints, we are not sure if a power cut will be announced, I cannot do a long post, but I have just quickly put together a few teasers. The cold Atlantic winter wind froze my hands and my cheeks, but it was never a problem before and also so now, as the photos are more important.
All of the photos were taken by me late this afternoon.
Come and have a look.
Right, now let's have a look at the ocean.
This was the scene when we arrived and I knew that the sun would eventually drop down, so we had time for a stroll on the beach.
Here below the sun started dropping out of the last top cloud.
But no, as there were other bands of cloud waiting below right on top of the mountains.
The power cuts are playing havoc with our lives over here and I wanted to place at least 15 photos in the sunset post, but we have no time now.
I have taken many more photos of the sunset and will show you some amazing photos in another post, but for now, this is it and I hope that you have enjoyed the pictures.

Pretty cool photo set you took here. Power cuts are increasing as today we were hit twice with one being a failure followed by load shedding. Makes no difference as we have a cold snap now so making coffee on the braai is not exactly fun.
We escape that with a flask :)
So sick and tired of this Escom that can simply not get their act together. Did you read about the tons of coal deliveries hijacked by the syndicates? We, you and I and all of the other tax payers are losing out big time and to top it all the electricity tariffs continue to escalate. So we end up paying for their mistakes.
What is crazy is that we could supply our own electricity. $1.3 million outlay for 1000 homes for 25 years by using a wind turbine. That is roughly R22 000 for 25 years along with roughly another R1000 per home for maintenance costs. Call it R2000 per year and this problem goes away.
Ah! Still no escape even if it's a great idea, as the latest is that Escom wants to charge zero users a standard fee of R945 per month.

.Yes. I saw that but that will have to be scrapped as a bad idea by them. I can see some people banding groups together and doing their own as this is the future.
Wow this is such a beautiful post, this pictures the sea and the clouds are just Amazing wow. The sea are also just so beautiful with the sunset. Great one
Thank you and we are blessed to have both the nature and the ocean here. Although the Atlantic water is very cold. The sunset makes it look warmer.
