I was admitted to hospital at 12 midnight on Tuesday evening, so this is a scheduled post.

I don't know how long I will be in hospital but hope that I will be back soon. In the meantime, have a look at this lovely Acraea butterfly.

It is now 11:10am and I am due in at 12 noon as I type this on Wednesday and this post is scheduled for Thursday, so not much talking here as we have to prepare for my admittance. Now let me tell you that I am not a fan of hospitals, but this one is a bit of an emergency as I ended up with internal bleeding last night. I had an operation to place stents in my lower abdomen arteries last week, and we don't know yet if this has anything to do with the bleeding.
Until then, I wish you all of the best.

On Tuesday night I saw that I was bleeding from my stomach when I used the toilet Hannes.
The doctor that did the previous operation on me with the stents, gave me new and stronger blood thinner tablets to take together with my normal blood thinner tablets.
After a few days the strong blood thinners made something in my stomach bleed and even now, they have not found the organ or anything else that bleeds.

I was released earlier today from hospital and now I look like a comic book with all of the blue marks of the many needles.
Also had a blood transfusion last night and now I am sitting around with another person's blood in my arteries.

I had to swallow a camera early afternoon today, to inspect the top part of my stomach below the rib cage and the result was nil. No bleeding. So on Monday I must go in again and they will tell me the way forward to find the leak.
Such is life my friend.

I just wrote in the other reply that I hope it turns out good in the end and everything's fine. Maybe it's just a simple problem caused by the blood thinner tablets.

I know I shouldn't smile, because I know that every blue mark hurts, but I can imagine how you look like and it's soon Halloween anyway, so you won't need a costume 😉 !LOLZ

So, I think I should get back to work now and wish you a great day without any pain and hopefully good news, my friend 🤞😊

Hi Hannes,

Yes, we also think that it's the stronger blood thinner tablets that started the bleeding. So now I am back on the original blood thinners, but they are saying that it is not enough to prevent clots from forming in the arteries. So the doctor reckons that I am walking on a tightrope at the moment, as clots can cause strokes, but I cannot take the stronger blood thinners 🤞

The strange thing is that the blue marks have now changed into darker colors and they will most likely be gone in a week's time. So maybe I can do Halloween as a chameleon 🤣 !LOLZ

I also wrote in the other reply about your last day being now over and it's time for you to relax 😉

Hahaha, I see others have also noticed our partnership in visiting hospitals, but yeah, I think that we should rather start to visit fun fairs. It is a long story and I left some snippets of it in the replies on the post.
I am glad that your issue was resolved successfully and just remember that water is now your new drink.
Not as nice as coffee, but essential for the bile.

Missed the memo as had my first cup 2 hours after in the hospital cafe. No side affects and dietician thinks I will have none. Will take it easy and will drink more water.

@ackhoo asap indeed, as they could not find the fault yet, so I pleaded to go home and they released me this afternoon. The search and the treatment will continue on Monday.

They have temporary controlled the bleeding and the treatment will continue on Monday.

Hahaha, we seem to be hospital twins. Coffee and I were both released today.
You have it so right, as it is not fun and I can walk around naked with all of the blue tattoos of the needles on my body. Looks like I have a blue suit on !LOL

I want to thank you all for kind best wishes and I want to tell you that I was released from hospital an hour ago.

They stabilized the bleeding in my stomach, but they have not found the cause yet. So I am to wait until Monday to see another specialist.

A special thank you to all for supporting my scheduled posts including this one in my absence.
I am still a bit weak in the head, but will try to do another post later today.
