A late drive to the shop.

Now what could possibly be exciting on a late drive to a shop? Come and see!

Life can be light, or life can be dark depending on how we look at it. As the dawn breaks and the birds sing, just so the night deigns in silence. It is so within each of us. We have both light and dark inside and we have the choice to let either one reign in our lives. Some people are bright sunshine and others are dark matter. Nature is as it is and the difference is that that we can choose what we want to be.
So come and drive with us.

This little bird below is a Southern Double-collared Sunbird that came to sing us on our way.

Look what I saw as I pulled our car out of the driveway. A sun halo.

So I stopped on the way and waited for the halo to show it's colors.

As we arrived at the shop, the sun halo started to fade.

Shopping was done and things started to get darker.

Wow! What a change as a golden sky appeared in all of it's beauty.

And finally it was night.

To me it was exciting to see all of this, but then I am a different breed and that's why I also do charity work. If we can't appreciate the beauty in life, then what is life worth?. We only have this one life, a short journey on this planet and then it's over. Kaput, no more.
Nature is a healer as it takes all of my troubles away and it clears my mind in order to fill it with rational and logical thoughts.
A pity that there are only a few readers on hive, but if you read this then know that I am pleased as maybe it was meant for you.

I hope that you have enjoyed this short and simple trip.

Evening skies have been extremely beautiful at sundown one minute gold, going into purple hues, staggering!

Two nights ago moon had a full halo with Jupiter clearly seen trailing slightly behind, last night clear skies the two were almost in tandem crossing together around midnight.

Looking up always something to surprise us.

Humans rush around from here to there and a lot of them completely miss the beauty that is right in front of them. You are definitely a different breed and I might be a subspecies 😂 as I will quite often lose myself in a sunset. And yes, I have actually been late because of it at least once, but it was well worth it! Luckily it was only late to a friend's place and they know I am a little weird, so my explanation, watching the sunset got a good chuckle.

This post was definitely for me. Especially because there is a sunbird as well!

Glad that you like the post and yes, we are definitely different. So the quicker you get used to it the better.
I don't make excuses anymore, as they can take or leave me, it makes no difference, as I lead my own life. We are not normal, but who wants to be normal?
Nature holds so many secrets that I will never discover them all, but I have no intention to, as it shows me what I need to know.
