A hot afternoon.
And some lovely views generated by opposing winds on the sea.
Oh, east is east, and west is west and never the twain shall meet. Rudyard Kipling.
But he said nothing about the north wind and the south wind, as the twain shall definitely meet, as is the case in here.
We have many clashing winds in the Cape of Storms, and we view them as battles in the sky. I have done some posts in the past to show you some fierce clashes of the winds, but on this day the wind from the north simply kept pushing the clouds from the south back behind the mountain in the sea.
A strong wind was blowing from the north.
And a line of clouds was blowing out in the opposite direction from behind the mountains in the south.
Backwards and forwards the clouds behind the mountain went in, in an attempt to cover the horizon, but the north wind was too strong in this case.
This would never happen if it was the south-easter wind, as it is one of our strongest winds, and it would simply drive the wind from the north far away.
Even this wind on the mountains in the north started slowing down and petering out.
See this now here below as how the views started to change.
And eventually, the wind cleared the clouds.
I can never view nature as static, as there is always something that catches my eye. In this case, my wife had to get some things at a shopping center, and as usual I waited outside at one of the coffee shops. Fortunately, the coffee shop has a wide and open balcony with views that stretch forever out over the Atlantic Ocean, and I can get some nice shots of the views on my camera. Distance is about 6 kilometers from the ocean to the shopping center, and that's no problem for my zoom.
Sadly, my camera is starting to blur some shots, as it works very hard, and not before too long, I will have to do something about it. Camera spares are very expensive, and before laying out a huge amount for repairs, I will rather keep a lookout for a used camera.
Such is life.
I hope you enjoyed the photos and the story.

nature wonders
Thank you!
The strong winds work together to create beautiful cloud shapes, luckily by the time the plane passes the wind has finished its work. What a wonderful miracle.
Oh yes, we see many miracles in the skies these days. !LOL

The most beautiful view comes here when we are near the sea, the cool breeze is blowing and it is very relaxing to see all these things.
I do agree with you as the sea has a language and songs of it's own. Very relaxing to listen to it. !LOL
