Look how the sun lit up the trees on the left and the right of the road.

I have a collection of views here that will hopefully stir some of your emotions with their naked beauty. Only the truth exists in nature, and it is so different to what mankind has become. What we see and hear from others is only 50% true and we have become so accustomed to it, that we regard it as normal. But have a look at the pictures and each picture will tell you only 100% percent of the truth. It is what it is supposed to be and there are no ulterior motives. Only the stark and honest beauty.
So, come and see.

Years ago, the Protea flowers starting to bloom signaled the approach of the Spring season, and many areas all over were covered with the beauty of different species of protea flowers. Sadly, this is no longer the case with all of the weather changes that resulted in us now having fruit trees blooming in the middle of winter and a big change, as winter now endures for the entire month of August. The first day of September is our official Spring day, but winter still lasts for another week or two.

I remember as children how we were anxiously awaiting the 1st day of September, as then the public swimming pools opened. But of course, there was a problem of severe and hurtful authority. My mom believed that it should rain first before we could go and swim. It was an old superstition that the rain would wash all of the germs out of the air and if we had to swim before it rained, then we would get sick.

So, I used to get very creative as my mom worked all day. On my way back home after school, I would slip in at the pool and have a quick dip. Just an innocent few laps in the water in a rented swimming trunks that was way too big for me. We used to pay 2 cents for a token at the pool and when we returned the token we handed the trunks back with the token, then we received our clothes back. But of course, my mom found out about my swimming adventures.

Need I say more? Nobody used to mess with my old lady, and she threatened the pool supervisor with arrest by the cops if he ever allowed me to swim there again without her written permission. That was after she gave me a hiding that would make the cows mooooo. But guess what?
I still found a way to go for a swim and that is a secret for another discussion.
